Long on Name, Short on Chips

Long Zhang's stack is one of those that has fluctuated wildly today but it ahs just experienced one act of variance too many...

With Maz Nawab raising on the button to 7k, Long now shoved for 47,600 total.

A quick count and a resurgent Maz announced "I call."

7-7 for Long, A-Q for Maz.

I'm never sure how to call these things, but luckily we have our French poker expert Benjo on hand to aid us during these tough times.

"What's going on Benjo?Huh?"

Thanks!

A flop of looked safe enough for Long but the on the turn all but sealed his fate and with only six cards in the deck to help him the on the river was none of them, meaning another one bites the dust and a positively sparkling Maz Nawab is up to a gob-smacking 210k!

When you consider he started the day with just 11k, that is an incredible recovery.

"I knew Maz were gonna tek 'im out!" Ash Hussain commented.

Ketul Chipped Up:

At the expense of Gary Clarke, who busted on the final hand before the dinner break.  He raised to 7k preflop, and big blind Ketul Nathwani moved all in.  He shrug-called with but found Ketul with .  No outdraw later and his GUKPT title shot is over.  Short stacked for much of the day, this leaves just Fran Egan, I think, flying the Irish flag in this classic T-shirt:

FULL CHIP COUNTS FROM BEFORE DINNER

Ty Jon Raab, you're a nice man.

Btw, please note that our current chip leader is Mazarus, Risen From The Dead. After missing half of yesterday due to illness/having to go see some people, and then coming back today with a mere 11k, he is like some kind of comeback god. You know what Maz thinks about that?
