Fuad's Had It

Fuad Serhan raised to 5.7k and then flat-called a reraise to 19k from Martin Green in the big blind, leaving himself 32k behind. Come the two spades flop, Serhan checked it and Green moved resolutely all in. Serhan thought about it, but passed, leaving himself verging on the short.

A few hands later, he found himself on the big blind. Tim Flanders merely limped from the button and Long Zhang made up the small blind so Serhan pushed all in. Flanders insta-folded, but Zhang stood up, thought about it, and called.

Serhan:

Board:

Out he goes.

Now that's a BIG pot, but this is a...

MEGA-POT!

Surinder Sunar, Talal Shakerchi and Richard Ashby went 3 way to a flop of .

Surinder moved in for his last 30k...

Talal now went into the tank considering his options. Regard his studious face.

...before he too called.

Richard Ashby meanwhile, watching on closely...now moved all-in over the top for another 55k or so!

Talal called with Q-Q, only to find Richard had him dominated with A-A...oops!

"FFS RUN SO BAD!"

So with those two playing out a large 110k sidepot, back to Surinder who was playing out the 100k main pot with the others, and he showed K-Q for the open ender.

He was in pretty bad shape as an Ace was no good, so he needed to hit a 9 to stay in the competition whilst Talal was drawing even thinner as only a solitary Queen or running 9-8 could save his bacon.

The turn was...the !

Amazingly Surinder had hit to take the lead and when the river blanked his advantage remained, boosting his stock to 100k+!

Ship The Sherbert!
Meanwhile Richard was left with 110k after winning the large side-pot and a dejected Talal was ejected from the tournament.

SHIIICKKKK!

31k.  "It's hard work being a short stack!" he says.  "I've been all in six times...just waiting for someone to double me up or bust me out."

Carter the Stoppable Poker Machine

Dan Carter apparently shoved in blind on the sb when it passed to him, and David McConnon in the bb made the call with A-Q.  When Dan checked his hand he found KK(!) which was promptly outdrawn by a spiked Ace and he's now disappeared.

Panicos In The Disco!

I have no proof that he has headed out to sample the early evening dancing opportunities of the Edgware Road, but either way Panicos Ellinas is OUT. Ketul Nathwani raised to 5k utg and Ellinas pushed from the small blind. A swift call later and they were on their backs.

Nathwani:
Ellinas:

Board: two spades

Steeling himself for the disco/freezing early evening trip home:
