A few chip counts and tales from the players

Firstly Julian is back up to 11k after being down to 2.5k..he found QQ in a 6 way limped pot and moved all in no callers then raised with   and made a flush on a scary paired board but was good

I then wandered over to Nickys table to see he had quite a few more chips..he told me he has just been playing alot of pots but won a decent pot from chris Bruce with AK v JJ

Nicky made it 450 utg called in 2 spots then chris made it 2400,called by nicky passed everywhere else
Flop came K 2 3 chris bets 2700 nicky calls,turn 4 check
check, river Q check check nicky wins the pot
There were apparently 3diamonds out which slowed the action
Nicky said he had raised 6 hands that orbit before that hand so Chris should know he had to have a hand there

Nicky 21k
Julian 11k

Any news on how Ben Vinson is going?

No, I haven't seen him today, but I did spot this smooth operator with 18,500 and a small ferret down his shirt.

Singh has just sang his swan song, Purewal Jatinder Singh short-stacked, but finding himself in dominate shape with versus the of Steve Jelinek. The looked safe, as did the turn, but the river was far from accommodating and the several thousand in the pot went sailing over to the former EPT Grand Final finalist. "I sat, and sat, and waited all day for my A-6," joked The Jelly, who was virtually all in himself.

How about this for some snazzy attire, Jerome Bradpiece's psychedelic top bringing a touch of colour to the event he won the first time around. It's just like a magic eye, and apparently if you look closely enough, you'll eventually be able to see a big giant bifta.

Dewi James is nearing the felt, and inevitably the bar, with just a few thousand in chips. With the board reading two spades , he faced a bet of 2,500 from Dave Smith, which he eventually called with a sigh. "Has he called?" asked Smith before showing . "Aah, I thought you had A-J to be honest," concluded James as he mucked face up.

Double K.O. now as Darren Hickman jabs with the left and swings with the right to floor not one, but two opponents in one combined motion. I joined the action with the three hands turned over, preflop, Jononthon Butters (mid position) in dominating shape with versus the of Darren Hickman (big blind) and the Ah of Mick McCloskey (button), the latter in need of a phone call to David Copperfield in order to escape this one. However, it was Hickman who squirmed out of his strait-jacket, the flop giving him the lead with a set of queens. No change on the turn and Two Clubs river, and two men hit the deck simultaneously, Jonothon's toast clearly not buttered on the right side. Hickman now on over 25,000 as a result.

Tom Rutter has just this second been eliminated. Positioned under-the-gun with , it looks as though he made a raise preflop and was called behind by Dave Colclough in the cut-off with . By the turn of a , all the monies were in the middle, El Blondie simply praying for the board not to pair. Alas for young Rutter, it didn't, and the river not only sealed his exit, but gave the former GUKPT winner a most timely of double ups.

Stephen Pearce is also out.

Too sick. Really unlucky Tommy. He'll be back

A few thanks are in order here.

To Chompy, for sponsoring this Update.

To Sicilian, for being the butt of our humour. Fully deserved, imo.

To snoops, for changing his plans at the last moment, to do this. It may be his last blonde Update, so enjoy his special skillz whilst you can!

To LittleMissC, for aiding & abetting snoops.

And to many others, Claw & Ding included, who offered to help.

It's really appreciated.

One day, Karma will ensure you will all get your reward.

It's bedlam here as we witness a three way all-in on the table nearest to base, Dewi James putting his tournament life on the line as he pushed for 4,475 on a flop. He may not have been too surprised to see Mohammed Hassan make the call behind, but an eyebrow or two may have been raised as Matthew Eiler Gadsden shoved two seats down. Without two much hesitation, Hassan mirrored his foe and slid his chips across the line.

"Come on then," said James as he rose from his seat. "Who's got the flush?" Hassan also rose from his seat, whilst Eiler Gadsden remained seated, his arms folded, and the expression on his face suggesting he'd just drank a pint of mustard.

As the hands hit the felt, all three players held their breath in unison.

Hassan =
James =
Eiler Gadsden =

Although the turn favoured Hassan and sealed the fate of Eider Gadsden, James was still in with a shout, but his prayers were to fall on stony ground as the river came the . "Well, we knew it was coming, didn't ya," said a disappointed James as he exited the table.

And here is the reaper of those rewards, Mohammed Hassan sitting pretty with 32,000.

Players are now on a one hour food, cigarette and poo break, although not necessarily in that order.
