Tom
Rutter
has just this second been eliminated. Positioned under-the-gun with
, it looks as though he made a raise preflop and was called behind by
Dave
Colclough
in the cut-off with
. By the turn of a
, all the monies were in the middle, El Blondie simply praying for the board not to pair. Alas for young Rutter, it didn't, and the
river not only sealed his exit, but gave the former GUKPT winner a most timely of double ups.
Stephen
Pearce
is also out.
Too sick. Really unlucky Tommy. He'll be back
gutted. cheers for the support. sorry to anyone who had a stake!

Online sensation 'Gregior' Gregory Howard is out. With the board reading
, Trevor Pearson (cut-off) led for 300, Howard (big blind) made it 1,000, Pearson pushed all in and Howard called.
Howard =
Pearson =
The
turn has people licking their lips, but the
is the wrong way round and Gregior goes home.

James Keys has been eliminated. With Josh Tyler limping under-the-gun, James Keys pushed all in for 4,200 with J-T, but was called by Tyler who held A-5. Blank board meant Keys was looking for the door.

Also on his way home is Carl Thomas who found himself in dominating shape with
versus the
of Paul Newman. A bullet on the
board, however, meant Newman got to see the colour of Thomas' money and the latter was sent hurtling home.

Ruining the potential for a triplet of departures, Steve Jelinek managed to double up, but he needed the aid of aces to do it. Up against J-8 of diamonds, Jelinek didn't seem confident, especially when the turn threatened a flush, but a raggy black card on the river was safe as houses and the Jelly survived. He still only has 6,000 though.

Steve Jelinek is like limescale, you just can't get rid of him. Despite being down to just a few thousand a hand or two ago, the Jelly is now on circa 14,000. On an
flop, Jelinek checked in the small blind, Mohammed Hassan bet 800 in the big and the cut-off, who I can only assume limped made the call. Back round to Jelinek who pushed his remaining chips across the line. Hassan folded, but Mateyboy called.

On an
board, Jimmy Morgan puts
Joe
Grech
to the test with a bet of 2,500, but after a brief pause, Grech proves he is worth by making a great call with
. Morgan can only muck.
Morgan -- 14,000
Grech -- 31,000
