Matt 'Evil Pie' is out, he bluffed into Nick Hicks' full house.

Nick made it 425, Matt called with Q-9 after another caller.

8-6-4

Nick makes a 550 cbet after checks. The other guy folds, Matt calls.

6

Matt bets 2,500 and Nick calls.

A

Matt bets 3,500 and Nick made the call with 4-4 for the house.

Matt went out soon after with K-9 vs A-K on a 9-x-x-K-A, all the money in on the turn.

Great Scoop Floppy, the next round is on you Smiley

As Matt related the Nick Hicks story with an amused grin on his face, Floppy went into full-on analysis mode.

"No wonder he didn't raise, what worse hand calls on the river?"

"Well not bl**dy queen-nine!" Matt said fighting back the laughter.

Cheers for all the good wishes...if there's ever a next time, I'll try not to blow it 3-handed! Flushy, although he had no % was a real help in the chopping, which was much appreciated.

James 'AgentChip109' bets 1,000 on the river of a board but finds himself raised to the tune of an additional 1,700. He makes the call but mucks his hand when he sees a hand that should have the label "Caution: May Contain Nuts" which his opponent turns over .

Just to prove that he's not always got the hump, here's Barry Neville enjoying the Dusk Till Dawn atmosphere despite his misfortune tonight.

What an atmosphere it is too!

The buzz on nights like this at DTD is second to none. Some cardrooms are souless and quiet, whilst here the banter amongst the players means there is always something interesting going on, some tale of debauchery or hideous misfortune being related with a dry grin or volley of expletives or other less salubrious behaviour going on.

As follows...

Barry's clearly chasing Kev's job as chief of norkage. He said "ere's one for the boys!" and snatched the camera off me to grab this shot.

I was suprised he managed to take a pretty good shot of Tania, one of the attractive dealers adorning DTD!

Enjoy lads - the fella to her left seems to like the view - ahem...
