worth a view IMO

G Casino Luton blondeite League page, 2003 style

http://www.cheeseypoker.co.uk/casino/AllPlayersPictures.aspx

I think we should reproduce Ali's vast array of dodgy looking types (especially that
guy 2nd from top!) on blonde, to help the old who's who mystery.

Or is there another thread somewhere that's already done that, innit?

Yikes! Mr Al Fayed is experienced?

If It is the guy I am thinking about, he put the clock on tony a couple of months go. TK woz most unimpressed!

I don't recall that.

He was not even in the hand, & it was his Missus who nudged him & told him to put the clock on me. After about 1.237 seconds - it's not like I'm a regular dweller. He, meanwhile, has to show her his cards & seek her advice before he makes a play. Pfft.

Keep them Tourney Reports coming Deano.

I have a particular affection for 3,000 word bad-beat Stories, it's a sort of fetish I think.

Username was yakit.

Anyone this rings a bell with?

I'm so tempted to award bonus points to Holdyfoldy for zzzzz'ing Sir Donksalot's 5000-word tournament report. I assume that's what the zzzzz was for Holdy? WP ma’am.
Otherwise, it was standard Sunday stuff at the Luton Indian burial site, Luther getting outclassed in the £5 rebuy, Sir Donkeys donking off early, me losing races, Lucky doing best of the leaguers but not quite cashing, MDD and British Gas running like a dream. And so on.
Good old Das though. I was on his table innit and he tried to force me to take a crisp £50 note, the 10% from the Vic that I said don't worry about, as soon as I sat down.
If I'd had Mrs Fayed's top on he'd have forced it down my cleavage. It's just nice to see someone keen to pay up a 10% imo.

Sigh, lol, I'm so tempted to make out that's was the ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz was for to get the points but alas it was just me expressing that I was still too half asleep to write how much i enjoyed Sillydonks report ...... I can feel a deduction of points coming here but ......   its prolly the best one I have read and the bar has now been set Chomps  Grin

Making a run for it now .... TAXI

Brief report from this evening’s tourney at the G…(I will stick to the facts, and leave the humour to Deano and Chumpy in their posts as they is more funny than wot I is).

2 tables - yes 2 I tell ya!    Err, is it normal to have more staff than players?

Dealer dealt (I have also said wot a magnificent card-room this is…..)

A vast array of regulars in attendance including SirGotchyINormallyWinOnMondays, Mr G Rogers, Lee the Barber, Jim McFinalTable, etc.

Richard O from Sky woz there too. That old geezer wot normally follows him around, wasn’t there. Richard musta run for a bit on the way, and he couldn’t keep up I reck.

There was also two Geezers both wot had the name Darren and both with the initials sitting side by side.  Wot’s the chances of that in such a huge tournament with this many players?!

Snatty’s best mate George was there too [see separate post where PC is singing his praises].

Not to anyone’s great surprise there weren’t any league players there tonight.

Anyway, I managed to battle my way through the huge field, to get to the final [yes unbelievable I know]. Not so unbelievable, I arrived low stacked.

Jimbo departed 9th, with me following soon after having shoved with 99, and walking into KK (I mean how can he call with that shit; utterly ridiculous…………..). I flop the 9, and the dealer then dutifully delivers a K on the Turn - so the best hand that deserved to win won.

Finally, Monday is clearly the new Wednesday, as there was a bit [or a lot] of a loud row (no I am not naming the players or wot happened, but it merely gives me an opportunity to congratulate Sir Richie Prew(dish) for not turning up, as he woulda bin most offended by wot one geezer woz saying  to the other one).

Twenty players for last night's £20 rebuy and not a league player among them, apart from future league inductee Drainy Alien of course.
