All very quiet last night, with just Davros Kajagoogoo picking up 8pts for Pelham's fantasy team.
Who you hammer at scrabble Claw?

10th place for me and £100 saver. Only 7 paid officially so no points unfortunately.

Played on a wild cash table afterwards, finishing at 10.30am this morning, after many thrills and spills(*). No sleep for me till tonight either.

(*) More of that later!

I'm gonna get a proper scrabble words book to keep down the G

Most interesting hand of the night was when I straddled to £4, Tony raised to £20, Gino re raised to £57 and I found aces in my straddle hand. Considered a flat call to trap but felt Tony may come along anyway, so I raised to £120. Tony almost insta shoved c £300 and Gino, knowing when he's beat, quickly folded.

Tony showed deuce three of spades and I already had  a bad feeling.

The flop was      and a blank - I now had a very bad feeling despite, holding

Turn   for a straight flush (ouch) , and  River   giving me the  nut flush just to rub it in!

That was one (albeit large) setback in an otherwise good night. A player capable of calling £300+ all in with 2 3 (after raise re raise and re re raise), is also capable of losing chips as quickly as they were won.

i like Tony.  I was just about to pay off his river value bet with my two pair in the tournament to his straight, but he gave me a nice cuddle and said 'save your chips Claire, i have you beat'.  Was a bit of a tell I think.

I do too. Very nice guy and usually good fun at the table as well.

The whole table also got a free breakfast from The G this morning, partly we think, due to the action and rake on the table last night, due in no small way to the high volume of large pots Tony helped create.

Get in!
Who's John Hilson? It's not seven-foot bouffant isn't it? He's Gary Hilson Banks.
These results prove I'm a better midweek player than Boer Wars  Smiley but not as good as Nirvana  Angry

You iz talking about different Tony's - one is a short Italian ice cream seller, the other is a builder from  Bury St Edmonds who is mega crazy at the cash table
