why the hell did lowery run his intercept in for a td? when you're leading a game with one minute left against a team with no timeouts you don't give them possession, just run out of bounds, let sanchez take a knee twice and it's game over. what if we'd missed the pat? then you're giving favre the ball in a one possession game
coz the fans were on jets -5! absolute booooom. how we ever got there i do not know.

I'm thinking of something like "concede a touchdown asap and get the ball back" then, when there is enough time to get the ball once, but not for both sides to get it
coz then u get owned like this:

there were some shocking schoolboy clock management errors made by the jets last night. commentary highlighted sanchez/ryan's mistakes approaching 2 minutes but they didn't mention what I thought was the worst.

surely players should be aware of this or am I missing something?
Correct me if I'm wrong but didnt the same thing happen in the Raiders/Chargers match on Sunday night. Raiders led by 1 when they intercepted and ran back for a touchdown with 58 seconds left on the clock. They got the PAT to lead by 8 but the Chargers got the ball back. I thought at the time wouldnt they have been better just running out of bounds and winning the match by one but the commentators didnt mention it!

Chargers still had 2 timeouts and there was about 1.40 on the clock, so the raiders done the right thing.

Exactly also figure into the equation these guys get paid bonuses based on hard stats , its also a statement of intent whilst smart clock management will help you win the game sometimes you can be too smart and it bites you in the arse , players still have pride and playing about so your defense doesnt have to face the offense again doesnt show a lot of faith from your HC and sometimes what gets good teams through is the faith between a coach and his players.
I understand whats been said and there are some valid points but end of the day you get an opportunity to score with the adrenalin flowing its hard for you to overcome the instincts that have been drilled into you over a period of years

Me and some friends were meant to be going down to NFL Wembley but can't make it anymore. Have 6 tickets (seated together) to sell in case anyone is interested or knows anyone who'd like to go, tickets cost £65 each (inc booking fee), could sell them in pairs also as are listing them on ebay like that in a few days if we can't shift them.

Fins special teams are still a complete joke.
We really should win this game with the Packers injuries.

Wtf
Why wouldn't we throw there instead of taking a knee. What a terrible terrible call, so conservative.

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii ship the win.
If we can get to week 9 still in touch, our schedule gets a lot easier.
Still not convinced we are good enough to make the playoffs.
