Use the "Macro" setting. (The little flower symbol)

He would if he hadn't eaten it already.

Day Two of the Get Fit Grind - I'm a wee bit stiff in spots, but nothing bad enough to warrant complaint.  Went to the shop yesterday for wholemeal bread.  Four shops later, I found it.  Amazing how few carry the stuff...so I bought their last two.  Good thing because they're small loaves and everyone in the house is chowing on it.

Must learn how to make wholemeal bread so I'm going recipe hunting later today for that...and more.  If anyone has a good one, feel free to post it.  Need some healthy pics up here fast before technolog goes on another cheesecake attack!

That's the thing.  I LOVE to cook and make as much as I can from scratch.  I'm a horrible guest in restaurants because it's rare I find a place doing something that proper 'wow's' me.  Initially when I decided to go about this get fit thing I was mentally putting a line through all the things I love cooking most.  Obviously they're all calorie ridden.  Bad move.

Last night I decided to turn that around.  After the the workout today I will mostly spend the rest of the afternoon searching through my cookbooks and the net for a bunch of healthy eating recipes that peak my interest.  No reason why this has to be difficult...and I'm determined to make it fun.

So first things first.  Brekkie as suggested by Tom followed by a good walk with the dogs.

They consider me too far away for delivery.  It's a 20-25 minute drive (depending on traffic - ie tractors) from my house to Killarney and I usually head to town maybe once a week for a big shop, but not had the need yet.

On the plus side, the Irish Pride bread van was sat outside me local shop just now when I went to pick up eggs.  One wee chat later between the shop owner, bread man and meself and I've a regular order put in which they'll put aside for me.  wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

[ ] That went well.

I was totally motivated to go to the gym this morning.  So much so, I failed to follow the rule of waiting an hour or two after brekkie to do it.  Now I understand why the wait.  Ugh.

Felt like I was going to be sick about 10 minutes into the 'hill climbing' thingy I was on.  Granted, I've never been a big fan of climbing anyway, but add a big brekkie into the mix and it was never gonna end well.  Had to do it in sets of 5 minutes alternating with light weights for 5 minutes to give the belly time to settle down again.  Rinse repeat for the 30 minutes despite wanting to call it a day half way through.

Figured there'd be hard days now and then.  Just didn't think I'd be saying it on day 2!  Ah well, tomorrow I won't make the same mistake with the brekkie.

Tomorrow is 'rest day' on the workout front.  Not because I'm giving up already.  Oh heck no.  I'd much rather be at the gym then what I've to face into tomorrow.

The girls asked for tickets to the live X-Factor show in Dublin as one of their Christmas presents.  Sounded like a good idea at the time.  Mainly because it was so easy to order them.  I'd kind of put it out of me head since then, but Sarah's reminded me.  The show is tomorrow.  Marv.  We're taking the train up and back because I can't be arsed to drive nearly 5 hours each way.

X-Factor.  Sigh.  What was I thinking?!
