Umar Khan is out. He pushed early on trying to get that elusive double up when he found J-J. Sadly, Chinese Frankie was sat right next to him with the ladies, and his Queens flopped a full house leaving Umar headed for the rail in 52nd.

Darren Foy is also out after he busted pushing his pocket eights, but ran into Paul Garnham's Tens. A 7-5-2-5-J board was no help to Darren and he headed straight home.

46 left.

Paul Phillips has just bought into the £150 after he exited in some interesting circumstances. Firstly, he re-shoved over the top of Adam Lawler's all-in preflop with A-8 and was happy to see Adam flip Q-10. The flop was J-7-8, which only increased Adam's outs, as he had 3 queens, 3 tens and 4 nines to hit. The dealer then settled the contest when he dealt the 9 turn, which left Paul drawing dead and down to a single ante.

Paul and Adam all in with Andrew Mosdell tanking. Andrew eventually passed.

On the very next hand, Paul was all in blind on the button. Gemal Husnu raised to 5300 preflop only to find Matt Russell 3-betting him to 13.2k. Gemal tank-folded, only to find Matt cheekily flipping 7-3 off, realising that a 3-bet with an all in player would look really strong and stealing the blinds as well as Gemal's extra 5300, at a cost of his 300 ante. Paul flipped J-10 and it held on the 8-2-5-9-9 board.

Paul then sat there for a couple of hands, waiting for an unopened pot to shove into. He eventually did, with 8-5, only to find Andrew Mosdell reshoving right behind him with Q-Q. No miracles on the 2-3-A-9-10 board and Paul headed straight for the cash desk to buy into the £150 as Andrew raked in the pot, with a wry comment from Thomas Dunwoodie, who claimed to have passed pocket 3's to Andrew's re-shove.

Neil Giblin's exit was at the hands of this man.

Neil raised from mid position.  On a board of K 7 3, Neil was committed to the pot and was allin with his AQ, Chinese Frankie had T 7, and the sevens were good.

As I headed over to table 21, Jono Beck had raised preflop to about 14k. Chinese Frankie then 3-bet to 38k and Jono was in the tank. He eventually called and they saw a  flop. Jono tanked for about a minute before muttering "55" and eventually pushing out a stack of green chips and 3 stacks of red chips, leaving himself about 15k behind.

Chinese Frankie then goes into the tank, apologising to everyone for taking a lot of time. He checks his cards again, and starts trying to talk to Jono, but has no success there, as Jono is just sat there like a rock, no movement or acknowledgement of Frankie. Frankie's there muttering about how sick it is, pointing at the  and the  , telling the table that he has 2 cards that are higher than those but red, making out that he has  . After a good 3-4 minutes, Frankie eventually folded, even trying to get a reaction from Jono when he folded, by pushing his cards right next to Jono's.

Jono just pushed his cards to the dealer and raked in the pot.

LOL, I thought Blatch might have been in this thread!

Matt's just eliminated Thomas Dunwoodie, after he raised it up to 7k from the cut-off with pocket treys. Thomas then shoved from the button for a total of approximately 25k, and it came back round to Matt, who made the call. The board missed out both players, running out 7-8-Q-9-5, and Matt's threes held up, giving him the pot and sending Thomas to the rail.

Latest men headed to the rail:

43   Thomas Dunwoodie
44   Richard Whiteley
45   John Exley
46   John Gibson

As you would expect, play has slowed down a lot as we approach the bubble. 42 players left and we've just started the first break of the day. Play restarts in 20 minutes.

Mohammad Hanif Kazi is out. He pushed all in preflop with A-Q only to find Jono Beck sat behind him with the dominating A-K. A harmless 3-4-9-8-K board sealing the deal for Jono and sending Mohammad to the rail.

We have 40 left, Mark Blay our other exit.

35k is already in the pot and Colin Young has his remaining 29k across the line with Mark Hayes making a decision.

Mark eventually folds and Colin shows  whilst scooping the pot.

Bubble has BURST.

The unlucky man is Andrew Mosdell. After he lost a large chunk of his stack when he ran his 10-5 into Mark Hayes' 7-8 on a 7-10-7-8-K board, he was shortstacked and found 10-10 preflop. He pushed all in and ran into Colin Young's K-K. A king as the door card on the flop sent Andrew headed for the rail, and the remaining 36 players relieved at making the money.

Brian Goddard is out in 36th, taking home £450.

Short-stacked, he pushed preflop with K-Q of diamonds, only to find Salim Jangarwala sat behind him with A-K of spades. The J-J-A-A-10 board leaving Brian headed to the cash desk to pick up his winnings, whilst Salim added more chips to his pretty hefty stack.

32 left.

Gemal Husnu has gone in 34th. Matt Russell raised to 14k preflop:

only to see Gemal (who he has had a running battle with today) tank, then push all in:

Matt went into the tank for a good minute before calling with  and Gemal flipped  .

The flop was nasty for Gemal,  , and the turn, despite strengthening Matt, gave Gemal more outs for a chop, as it was the  . The river was a safe  two spades though, and Gemal headed straight out the door.

Pretty much as this was happening, a short stacked Dean Morris pushed his last 8.1k in preflop:

and got calls from both Matt Cartwright in the small blind and Andrew Wright in the big blind. The board came x-x-x-8-x and Andrew flipped 8-8. Matt mucked A-10 and Dean ruefully smiled and flipped 3-3 before heading to collect his £450.
