Gravy makes a sunday roast, a great piece of meat with no gravy is meh, an average bit of meat with awesome gravy is awesome. Obv you should have awesome meat, and awesome gravy. Alex (Jake's GF) made roast Gammon in an orange glaze at Xmas, and turkey wrapped in bacon, was 100% best roast I've ever had - the gammon was top 5 best things Ive ever eaten. | Click to see full-size image. |
 Obviously there was lots of gravy, and obviously it was SICK. Big fan of parsnips, middy has an issue with them because when he was a kid once he ate one thinking it was a roast potato and was so disappointed he never really got over that  |

The duck from the central market is pretty good and very fatty which is wonderful for making chips with later in the week. I'm currently in a vicious circle with this.
Although I think the whole chickens from the really bowl end out the back are even better and absolutely sublime when roasted.
Would love to know where she gets especially good eggs from, there's infinite choice in that place.
