Now is pretty much the nut low time to invest in property
Its 2007 all over again
Not sure about this. Outside of London we are perhaps 6-9 months into a turn round in perceptions that will run for 2,3 4 years before the inevitable reaction the other way ?

Genuine question btw not a dig.
I'm pretty fantastic at what I do but I'm still always looking at other things. For some reason though I always seem to get a much greater success at what I'm brilliant at.
You clearly excel at poker and enjoy playing it so why the need to move in to other things?
Unfortunately, no one will pay me for what I'm brilliant at.

You get to use the brand, the original guys build you the actual rooms and the franchise is really really cheap. They regularly build you new rooms etc.
Dissappointing it's in Londonv we thought could make alot from team building events from corporate work, the not other major city in Europe that has it is Prague afawk
I don't know what this business is but if the start up costs are low and gross margin huge I would guess that similar operations are gonna be opening at a rate of knots til the margins are more "normal"
Is the franchise unique enough to maintain the profit figures?

Pretty good night. I booked a prop bet with rich "theclaimeer" trigg on highest combined cashes on stars tonight c
I took an early lead with a 265 final table, came 4/5th. Later cashed 100r, 320 6max and all the higher stuff I played generally. I finished it with 2nd in the 55r for 3.5kish but he still managed to win somehow!
V good day overall though, kinda sad to come second today in the 55r and 2nd yesterday in the 250 6max, especially as 3 outered in both. Don't even mind losing the prop think I played v v good all night, started at 4pm finished at 3am and won 34k, I'm fine losing 500 to trigg every Thursday if thats the result!
Not sure if I'm grinding tomorrow. We will see. I made a pot somewhere about being in top 10 on pocket fives in the UK being a huge goal for me I couldn't find the post anymore but last week I made it to 9th in the uk and 125th in the world. Enjoying grinding these ranking and setting new goal of top 3 in UK and top 25 in the world.

All this investment stuff has got me thinking particularly the staking other people and setting up franchises in whatever it is.
You're pretty bloody good at playing poker right?
Why not just stick to that?

Well I mean its maybe just not the best idea to have alot of money (spare the brags I know) lying around ding nothing when it can be getting used to Mae more money. I do agree with you though, I think using the money to play bigger games myself, buy bigger percentages and be aggressive with it whilst not stupid within poker is a good idea.also selling less for, tournies than before etc etc
Kinda feel awkward posting so much financial stuff itt. Probably keep it poker for now.

Profit? Or cashes?
Just out of interest, how much would a typical nightly schedule cost in buy ins and how does that differ on a sunday?

We did total cashes. But tournies we both played so basically profit.
Hmmmm usually
Stars 1.5-2.5k
Tilt 500 max (usually 0)
.fr 400
Sunday is crazy. If you want, it can be 10k. Never under 5.
There's just always some scheduled series on where you can spend more. With scoop we will have some huge days. Looking forward to it!

34k seems like a lot for the cashes you listed! Wp if not a typo, well wp regardless, I haven't had a winning session online all year!

Presumably the autocorrect had just got used to adding lots of zeros on the end of numbers by now.

I love how he blames the ipad when his typo form is hotter than his tourny winning form!

Got a headache mid session today, gonna use the gunnars from tomorrow. Had a good session, regged like 3 hours, won the big 100e on .fr, 4th in 320 6max and 10th in 100r with a few other scores for good day.
Probably playing tomorrow and Sunday as long as Im not getting ill.
