yeah should have posted it the other way with TT and see how many would have called the river. It doesn't matter anyway, I'm just posting some fun hands
Sure lots of stuff I do it awful! But r/c or r/f 88 on this flop would not be good.
I don't have that many hands that flat call here, I'm perceived to be 3betitng a depolarised range out of position vs HSMTT regs, meaning I'm 3betting suited broadways/ak/aq 99+ here, my perceived range here is VERY pair heavy, to just expect me to have a "random bluff" when I flat the sb here would be very ambitious.

Never intended for my comment to come across rude or disrespectful, but just as a point to discuss :-)

You're going to all play a lot of poker hands where you do something for a certain reason, and it turns out to be completely the wrong thing to do because your reason was just wrong.
Sometimes it ends up working out for you...sometimes it doesn't

Never be frightened to debate or discuss hands bud, Plinop loves that sort of thing, & he likes feedback.
It's good to offer up our thinking, & he likes to explain the what, why & when.

as villain in hand 3, what's your flop raising range like?
I'm pretty sure you don't have one?

Agreed, certainly makes reading the diaries even more interesting than they already are.

Thanks guys. Sometimes I guess I'm overly conscious about the way I write things on forums.

I'm interested to know what you do with 88+ vs your flop lead here. I agree it's putting villain in a really tough spot, if r/c or r/f is bad then what is call call fold or call flop fold turn. I still think call call fold like villain did is the worst.

Have been getting pretty ****ed in PLO. Studying a lot and definitely will be making some mistakes, but will post some hands here..
Hand 1 - ridic wrp
http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hand...880_6383167F59
I think calling flop/turn is better than raising either street right? I see a lot of people just cramming both streets, calling is at least logically to me the best play.
Hand 2 - 950bb pot, i haz pair :/
http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hand...872_9EBC830BAA
Thoughts? Seemed standard to me, 3betting may be a mistake pre flop, but i assumed it was standard. Thoughts on the 3rd guys get in? Seems bad. WAL for the 4,4 run out.
Hand 3, seemingly good turn card?
http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hand...861_D5EA242843
This one was a little weird, I would assume my opponent would b/f a hand like this. Thoughts on his play? If I didn't have additional equity I guess I would have c/c flop.
Hand 4 -
http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hand...813_8AC8641BA0
I mean assume my play is std here, villains seems really, really bad though no?
Hand 5- std line check?
http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hand...462_D1E338E525
Just making sure?
Just 5 hands, I actually feel pretty good playing. Definitely making some mistakes, but feel like I'm running quite bad. Pretty scared to moan etc but recently things have been going really badly in MTT's just getting ****ed a lot but trying to avoid blogging about that. Played some tournaments tonight at friends house.
Tomorrow will be off completely.
Saturday unsure.
Sunday grind.
Definitely going to Monaco next Wednesday, looking forward to it now.

Having a nosey through your boom, hand 2 kinda stood out!
http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hands/Boom/14111872_9EBC830BAA
Hope this link works.
Yeah 3rd get in has to be bad, I don't like the second get in either tbh but I don't play up there, maybe standard I don't know?
3bet seems ok to me.
From what I can see general standard of opponents seems terrible, obv only a select few hands I'm looking at but jeez can't believe what hands are getting it in. Really feel like taking a shot or two after watching some, even if it is just to get my arse handed to me and brought back down to earth!
