Dunno mate, but you can play poker any time you want at home, but you only have a few weeks in Colombia. As a fellow avid traveler, I don't get why you want to sit in a room playing poker when you could be exploring.

Clearly its your choice as to what you do, But I'm guessing you will only go to Colombia once, don't miss that chance.  

Don't get pissed off with me or ow't for saying that its just my opinion. If playing poker online whilst traveling for a month is a priority for you then fine

He doesn't seem short of action thus far and he's only been off on the travels for a day or so.  Alex has obv done his share of travelling and will no doubt be getting plenty done over his trip.

a) i enjoy playing poker
b) there aint much to do here, certainly no other travellers, its just a relaxing sort of place where doing nothing is part of the appeal
c) its £90 a night to stay here and I wanna earn some £ to pay for it!

i'll spend half the day exploring / doing something like renting a boat or bicycle and the other half ima spend grinding. Like I said earlier, chilling in the sun overlooking the lake and the hills and the trees playing online is my idea of paradise. Just because it ain't your cup of tea doesn't mean it's not exactly what I wanna be doing. You were just like this with Cos when he was in Thailand. "Why are you playing poker when you could be doing xyz".

Know what your saying mate. I guess I cba playing poker when I'm traveling as I want to focus 100% on the experience of traveling. I guess that isn't for everyone which is fair enough
