Enjoy life as it is mate. In a few years time you might be looking back from your 9-5 with uncontrollable envy.

Great 50/1 sesh at Gala tonight. Immediately got in a £200 hole thanks to a few coolers / bad beats. Then ran really well the rest of the night and finished up 550, which is my best 50/1 session of the year to date.

Some nice hands include raising pre with called by Armani from btn and Sean from SB, check i bet, both call. turn, sean checks, I check, armani checks. river , sean checks I check again - vs Armani, thought it was the best way to get the max vs him. He bets 20, sean folds, I c/raise to 95 he calls happy times.

Made a big fold bet folding on I bet 71 into 85 on the river and got raised to 160. Folded fairly quickly and happily. Then shortly vs same guy, I raise utg with he calls utg+1 two other callers, two spades Two Clubs I bet 12, he calls, 2 folds. Turn I bet 26, he raises to 54. SIGHHHHHHHHH. Was gonna fold but levelled myself into calling. BINKKKKK Hi derr Mrs ! Check the river obv, he bet 56 I c/r to 200 he called. Maybe should've check shoved for 400total but didn;t wanna get greedy and give him a chance to hero fold a 5.

Was the sexiest river I can remember seeing!

Played really good tonight, and the hands I showed down were really good for my image. Ppl calling me "golden" again and a "luckbox" which suits me great. Means I get more folds (using the theory that i'm "too lucky" so just best to avoid me) and ppl less likely to make thin value bets vs me for fear of being c/raised. So gonna be check raise bluffing those guys next time and probs heroing it off more often as well.

Simon, Mitch and Dan Morgan still in the main event, all above average in last level of day 2 so going strong. GL boys!

I've done a sheep quiz. Enter it please. It's a really good laugh for those who've never done one before.

These are the questions. Click on the link for the rules & regulations.

1) Name the capital city of a country in Asia

2) The name of a London Underground Tube line

3) From any of the Harry Potter books, name a muggle mentioned.

4) Name a wellknown composer who wrote music before 1900. Well known = i've heard of, because, not being funny, but if I haven't heard of them, they're not well known.

5) A football team promoted to the english premier league in the last 5 seasons.

6) A racetrack on this seasons formula one circuit.

7) Someone who has won a bracelet in this years WSOP.

8 ) A word used in the NATO phonetic alphabet

9) An animal that can be spotted on a typical African safari

10) Name which contintent one of these countries lies.

Tuvalu
Syria
Grenada
Guinea Bissau
Vanuatu
Togo
Burundi
Tonga
Maldives
Costa Rica

1/2 dead tonight. game didn't last more than 2 hours Sad won 100 then me and giblin went to play 2/2 dc for the rest of the night. Sat with 60, scooped a decent pot in padooki to get me about 150 in front, lost most of it back before the end of the night, left winning 20 or something but was playing for the enjoyment of it rather than anything else.

Going Germany on Friday to see Hannahhhhhhhhhhhh whoop. So that means Broadway tomorrow night until 5am then straight on the plane. Last time I'm going over there as she's home in 2 weeks Smiley

You should have played the 50p/£1 table I was on -  where no one knew how to straddle properly. Here is an example of the masterful play, nothing to do with incorrect straddling but a bit of a headscratcher nonetheless  -

Aggro bluffing gobbo (but in a good way) raises pre-flop (and has been doing with all sorts of shit as well as strong cards), bets and gets called every street and then somehow decides to turn his Kings into a river bluff by raising three times the nit's obvious value bet with the probable nuts on a                board,  and said nit (a possibly retired gentlemen even tighter than a nun's chuff) calls said £30 bet, is shown KK and folds.

Or how about the guy who sits down with £50, very first hand raises to £7 in MP, is re-raised to £21; calls, sees a raggy rainbow flop including an ace , checks and calls a £25 picture card turn bet leaving himself £4 and then calls off the last £4 after a massive dwell, tables nines and is shown trip aces. "I can't believe I was so unlucky you had three aces"

Naturally I lost a buy-in to this lot. Happy days.

Yup these games are fairly painful and humiliating to lose in, but I'll often drop a few buyins to these geniuses! Yeh it looked a more profitable game but I wanted to try out the DC and have a laugh, been grinding so much this month that I sort of gave myself the night off.

can't say with much authority only been a couple of times. There's a couple of 1/2s running and some omaha on a weekend night. No idea what time they start to be honest, at a guess id say around 10. It's a small cardroom within the casino, nightly comps where the first exits make up the cash games at the start id imagine.

they've been very soft when ive been there, softer than DTD but nowhere near as soft as gala.

Had an odd uni flashback in sainsburys tonight. Big rugby lad strolling round in short shorts, flip flops and a wife beater. Carrying a crate of stella in such a way that exacerbates his ridiculous looking biceps. Shouting across the shop to his pal to "get some more beer".

Standing infront of him was an attractive skinny tanned girl, dressed up for a night out, holding a bottle of the cheapest white wine, and a credit card, waiting to pay.
