Been chilling with stato last couple of days. Went to Gala to have a laugh with the crew, unfortunately most of the legends weren't there, and the game was pretty dull. Yes, got bluffed by Andy. I bet the river £82 as a bluff/thin value bet merge with
on
then he shoved for 180 total and that made me think I was good and tanked about heroing it off. But folded and apparently he was bluffing. He's pretty easy to read tell-wise usually but was off on that one. Oh well, lost 40 overall.
There was a pot early on where it was limped pre I had
and the flop game
...my heart sped up, and I still felt the same old rush even though there was £7 in the pot. That made me pretty happy.
Went to see Harry Potter again this afternoon, very enjoyable. Played the £50 turbo and then 1/2. [ ] Good value game. It was 5 handed most of the night with Me, Deadman, Giblin, Mitch and Stato. Loads of good banter of course but the DC game next door would've definitely been a more profitable choice! Won a bowl on the 1/2 and 100 on the DC in the last 30 minutes.
Getting a cheque for my share of the winnings from DTD was pretty sweet (looks so sexy). In fact, oddly enough, everything's pretty fucking sweet these days!

'bowl of rice' - basically a very small amount.
If someone in a tournament says 'they've got a bowl' it means they're shortstacked. You see it on the updates a fair bit

Only another year to wait:
We saw a trailer for it in Cinema yesterday. Me and Alex nearly fell off our chair in excitement, everyone else was like "well that looks a bit shit"

But I still got excited about flopping two pair in a 50/1 game! I've not changed a bit!

Game selecting whenever, will play 2/5 when it runs if the game is good. Only play 5/10 once in a while if the game is really good AND it's not too big because it's still a shot with my roll i reckon.
