Played a couple of really satisfying pots last night, finally feel I'm playing good again and in the zone.

First was a £250 hero call with KQ on K67A5 in a spot I'd never call online, and on paper he has to have me beat. Live reads ftw though, I called and he mucked. That was satisfying.

Second was a big move on Mitch and Ajit on the turn for £255. Obviously not gonna go into my reads on them, but I felt I knew where they stood, and both would put me on a strong range in that spot. Ajit was in the middle and I knew he had the best hand but would have to fold it, was just praying Mitch didn't find some hero rebluff but don't think he had the haaaarrrrt.

Made a flush and house vs Mitch in 3bet pots and got paid nicely, but stacked off £300 to Andy with AT vs AQ aip btn vs sb, still cant win a pot of the word wizard! Ran decent in props except when Mitch decided it was time we played doubles for the last three hands 10/20/40/100. Nick insta flops both of his cards for £100 a man - paiiin. Scooped a £25 omaha flip to ease the pain with 27xxxx which flopped a house and held

Up 660 for the night, great start to the month. Deepstack weekend now, then Greece for a week on Monday. Good times ahead

Made day 2 of the deepstack with average stack, never got above it today, no good spots, bust A9<AK, which also wasn't a great spot. Sigh.

Driving down to Cambridge tonight with Keith, Keys and Mitch, staying at my Dads before our flight to Greece tomorrow. Gonna be a sick trip I'm sure.
