Got a quote just now for 2100. Not too bad but still feels like daylight robbery but what u gonna do?

Im sure it'll only be this bad for a short time, once I'm a) 25, b) living in a nice area, c) have some no claims, I would hope it went down considerably. At the moment I'm like the nut worst person to insure, 23, no no claims, driving a 325, living in a dodgyish area. Can't wait to move to be honest. Contracted until end of July and the others understandably don't wanna pay rent in two places, though I think it's worth it - the places we were looking at were really great.

Anyway, I write lying wide awake at 7am Thai time, 11pm English, very jet lagged Sad

Cos' place is great, we're gonna have a sick time. So many activities and things lined up for the trip. Going to phi phi island on Friday for a night or two. Gonna do lots of exercise over here, go to the gym with cos, play sports, do snorkelling, maybe scuba diving but it scares me, wanna do rock climbing, love that. Plenty of beaching, massages, awesome food, lots of partying...gonna be awesome.

Enjoy Thailand, Alex!

Be careful of what you eat, though, lot of foreign food out there.

Give Cos a kiss from me, please.

Matt thought 5.2k...

How old are you Alex?

I based my guess on a guy at work who's 19, drives an old Fiat type thing and pays £380 per month.

There must be something in there that I've missed. Is it just the first car you've owned or the first one you've ever driven unaccompanied?

It makes a big difference if you've been insured on a parent's car for a few years for example.

Whatever the circumstances it's a bargain. Especially if it's fully comp.

Enjoy it Smiley

I'm 23. It's the first car i've owned, I was insured on my Mum's car but there was nowhere to even write that in the application so for all intents and purposes, no.
