I know u were experimenting with limping pre- have U continued with this or just decided min open is better?

It's kinda rare to find spots where I think it's better to limp, but it does happen a bit, and I really like doing it. It's often in spots where I really want to play the hand lol, because of certain blinds, or a pay jump or I have the button or whatever. But don't feel I have a profitable jam, or an open might get met with aggression whereas a limp will confuse people into limping / completing / checking their bb or just folding. Doing with big hands is great fun when someone wakes up with a hand behind, you feel so dirty limp raising Cheesy

The one Alex uses I think is called 'Rungood'. It costs about $15-20.

I use one that does much the same thing. It's called Poker Income and is free.

RunGood costs £6/7 and is excellent. Used poker income before and found it far less good. As with everything in life, you get what you pay for. IMO of course.

Can imagine you rocking a bag of that.

End of Week 3, End of WPT

The Main Event came with a large dose of disappointment - I had a good day 1, building up a nice stack, then butchered a hand which cost me a bit, but still ended above average with 83k. Day two I had a horrible table draw and had slept really badly and just wasn't feeling in the zone. Despite a decent start, I made a big mistake vs Chino Reem, 4betting AKo to 15400, over his 6000 3bet, and he called with 55 with only 36k back. The pot was 32k going into the flop and I was just hating life on the 986 flop, hate it so much when people peel with these SPRs and I have AK oop and the flop comes like this. Didn't know what to do and ended up bet/calling which I hate and couldn't get there.

Built up to 50k which was still plenty at 600/1200, then got coolered with A8cc flopping a flush on 623ccc and Sergio Aido had 66 and turned the house - there was no getting away that shallow. All my swaps bricked more or less, one min cash from the beardo Fred Wise was all we could muster as a group.

Then was the 2k 6max, in which I also didn't play great but got unlucky to bust. Had some bad sessions of cash in between, and then came the 1k 8max, busted quite late on day 1a, then went out in town with Victoria, Fred, Lakin, Craig Mc, Jake Cody, JP Kelly, Richie Allen and a few others. Got suitably wrecked and thought I was gonna end up missing the turbo 1b of the 8max, but made it in level 4, and got through to day 2 with just 20k.

Managed to spin that up and got into the money (11 paid) with an amazing line up of Keith, Stato, Tom, Chinese Frankie and Wadey! #WotRtheChances? So that was really fun, but alas, the fun didn't last long. Stato managed to wriggle out of KT vs QT on QJ9 finding the TT runout to cripple Tom, and Keith took out Tom and Frankie in one hand, despite only starting the hand with 9bbs himself.

So it was just Keith Stato and me on the 8 handed final. I started with the fewest chips, but managed to ladder well and come 4th. Pretty nice result Smiley

It's been a great month, I've loved the whole festival. As much as re-entries are bad for the economy I love them. I love getting up every day and having a £500+ comp to play, with huge guarantees and prizepools. Then cash games or nights out if you bust. With free pool and sofas to chill out in the Marquee when you want some downtime. It's been a blast.

I also won a ESCOOP event on the Spanish pokerstars, a 100e 4max event - is my first online "title" and silverware which I was chuffed with, had 0.7% of the chips in play 3 handed and came back to win!

Also managed to upgrade my laptop  finally to a lovely shiny new Macbook Pro, and my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6. Loving both.

Back to Barcelona tomorrow, for a week off before Prague on the 3rd. Will be selling some small percentages for the EPT main event I think. LMK if you wanna reserve some.
