Depends if you think he wants a Ten in his hand to do this (i.e. AT, TT).
Or if he does it with any Ace.
Or if he has any bluffs at all.

Maths / Combos calculation.

think i 4b for value vs him.

id call and hope to chop otr, i think he checks TT sometimes otf, and you're river sizing is so small that he would expect you to be way greedier with quads

Yeh I think these are the right questions. And I think pleno is right when he says my bet size doesn't look like it could be quads (would go greedier).

So - No, I don't think he needs a Ten blocker. Yes I think he does this with any Ace. Can never say never but think a bluff is <1%.

So I'm calling £12600 to win half the pot (1400+700+500+425)= £3025

Lose to 1 combo of TT so only need him to have 4/5 combos of Ax to breakeven call so thought that was plenty. But make it £20k+ and now we've really got to consider folding.

I thought for ages and called and he had AK thank god lol. I said "Why did you have to put me through that!".

Update from the year so far.

Poker

Played 0 tournaments and loads of cash. Just played 3 back to back 15 hour sessions, almost losing my entire weekends profits in the final few hours but got it all back in the last hand. Phew!

It's been a hugely swingy time. On Friday we played a sick game where the button put £50 on the button and if he doesn't win the pot, the next button puts another £50 on, and so on until the button wins the pot and the money. It built up to £1k on Friday and it was Ian G on the button - he did something quite spectacular to finally win it. It created SO much action it was so sick.

Gonna rest for a couple of days before heading off to Dublin for the UKIPT/EPT. Never been to Dublin before so am looking forward that. Victoria will join me for the last weekend and hopefully the FT rail Tongue

Fantasy Football

I had a clean sweep last week, scooping the group draft and every side bet with a team that everyone wanted to bet against. My main man Cameron Borthwick-Jackson did the business with everyone chipping in as well, it was so pure after everyone was rinsing me. I promptly did half of it back this weekend though, losing every bet I made. Still about £900 in the green in total.

Extra Curricular

Victoria turned 24 and I threw her a party in our flat.

First decent sized thread I opened on joining and a few weeks later here I am.
Solid journey bro.
Fellow Russian speaker for the win. I've lived in Kazakhstan for a few years now and became fluent. Obv brag but far easier being immersed in it.
Win it all.

So Dublin...

Best thing so far is that Keith has satellited into Day 2 of the 25k through at 2.5k hyper and made the final 8! He has 65k locked up and playing the final tomorrow for 500k first prize! What a life! Will rail him tomorrow. He looks so funny posing for the photos they make them do. I'm taking bets on his FT jumper. Blue ralph lauren is the 11/4 favourite.

For me I've played two tournaments:
-UKIPT main, busted day 2 nearish the money, lost AA vs J8o all in pre for my most crucial hand of the comp.

-UKIPT hiroller, busted 10 off the money, AA vs K7o allin pre vs Steve O'dywer. As if he needs to do that to little ol' me when he wins every super hiroller he plays?!

Cash:
-Won my buyins back there at least.

Looking forward to football tomorrow, if Liverpool do alright then I'm in with a shout of some deece monies, big games either side too should be fun. Got the FT rail and maybe late reg the EPT main. Will try not to get it allin pre with Aces...

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
