So the family have all had a treat includIng me and Shell with his n hers iPads. We are now looking at booking a holiday. Somewhere in Europe. Kids ages are 14,14.7 and 3. Any suggestions?
Turkey is a very child friendly country. With it being a relatively new holiday destination the hotels are generally new built and most have water slides (almost theme park like) The food is always fresh and healthy, a great climate + there are a lot of good deals avaliable(loads of fake goods on sale at a cheap prices ) . Although a muslim country you wouldnt know it as a typical sterotype as all the locals are very helpful and friendly. Heres a link to the place I went with the kids through Thomas Cook..Its bang on the beach http://www.thomascook.com/destinations/turkey/antalya/side/paloma-oceana-resort/Just to add balance, I wouldnt go to Turkey if you paid me <3 Thought you were from there bud ;-)

I'm gonna suggest non-Europe. Just how much of a no-no is that?
The reason I say it is because when i went to Borneo it was the best holiday of my life. Just absolutely amazing. The small amount more you pay for in flights, you more than save in the costs of great hotels, travel and food. The things you can do are just fking magical.

Marbellaaaaaaaaaa
lol sure would describe 'the strip' in marbs as family friendly Cape Verde sounds like a very good way to cross Africa off the list if you haven't been there Just don't go to Gran Canaria whatever you do - its abysmal

More to do with flight time than cost tbh. Shelley isn't the best flyer and don't really want to have Rio and Ace on a plane for 7-8 hours.

Wherever you look to book, have a scan through people's reviews of the hotel etc... You obviously have to make allowances for the fact that average person who goes to the trouble of writing a review, is more likely to be a whingey, whiny, grumpy soul, but you can identify common themes, and compare them to the kind of things that are important to you.
In terms of destinations, my personal fave is Cyprus (Protaras), but I also like the Canaries and Majorca. Trying Turkey for the first time this year (just to piss off Greekie!), on the recomendation of a friend.
