I give them my business and they force me to wear their branding for the pleasure

Really? That's just ridic..Hell, that's even more ridic than having to wear the badges for sites that you qualify on for the WSOP IMO.

You get a t-shirt and hat out of it .  Cheesy

They dont force you to wear their stuff on day 1 or day 2.  Might be different if you final table.

Its def £500+60, Im not sure why stars client shows it as £560+0 but I dont think its anything we would need to worry about.  You can buy in through the DTD shop.

Does it say where you have to wear a stars badge? Could you wear it on your trainers for example?

Some of my cardigans just wouldn't handle a badge Smiley

It's pretty damn obvious....don't really feel it needs to be cleared up.

I can figure out myself that the buyin on the site obv means there is no rake from buying in online and the 560 goes to DTD, 60 of it is obv the rake.

GUKPT is great except they dont get the runners anymore and they are in far flung places making it a bit awkward to get too.

think they are pretty slack about the logo's until final table

gukpt should def be commended for the rake free online buy in, but having a pop at stars is a bit petty imo.

Why list it as £560 + £0 in one area of your site and £500 + £60 on another are of your site? Shouldn't have to guess where the rake is and who it goes to, I don't care, it's either £500 comp with £60 rake or it's not, I don't care if it goes to DTD Stars or anywhere else, I just wanna know what the comp costs and how much is going to the prizepool and how much isn't, however damn obvious you think it is. It should be listed as £560, not with the plus £0 afterwards giving the impression there's no rake (if they can't manage to write £500 + 60 on every part of their sites.

Not sure I understand about the far flung bit, the UKIPT events are much more spaces out no matter where u live, Cork, Edinburgh, Galway, Ncle, Brighton aren't all close to anywhere so that's obv not relevent.

Cheers for the heads up about the DTD shop, didn't know such a thing existed, will buy in there instead

Didn't make the point out of pettiness, tho thanks for the accusation, made it out of balance and comparison in pointing out something which is obviously unfair when they're giving nothing in return. I don't see why I have to wear a logo when I've bought in, if you could explain why, which would obv break my contract with my sponsor, I'm all ears, unless it's petty to ask why they're giving provisos before allowing me to spend my money

Well, if they make you wear it, you could always chop up the letters into a word of your choosing as some form of peaceful protest?

That said if you're wearing the patch your probably on the final table, and wearing/not wearing the patch will be the last thing on your mind.

buy in with cash then? stars are putting on a service think they are entitled to put stipulations on to it if they want. the same way i think would be perfectly reasonable for gcasino to ask online buy ins to wear a patch too.

and for your £60 rake you get the stars party, a buffet (notts may be an exception on this front not sure) some of the best dealers in the country, the chance to be on tv etc etc

dno...it's their comp they could get petty. I don't see how they could stop u wearing it under a hoody or something tho.  I remember the powers that be at Ladbrokes were seriously considering pulling John gale out of a wsop event he had either bought into or qualified on the site (can't remember which) coz he wouldn't wear the patch. Was the yr he won the bracelet so he was getting plenty of press n their attitude was we paid his buy in so we can withdraw him. They decided the negative publicity wasn't worth it but they really wanted to do it
