Interesting thread.  I can certainly empathise with your 'play 4, place one, win 2 quit for the day' mentality, its something I have 'suffered' with for the last 3 years and my income from poker is modest...at best, because of this.

I know you are playing the STT, turbo and 4 at a time, but how many runners are there and how many get paid and at what %?

Impressive results so far, I hope it continues for you.....

9 runners on Star's STTs. The top 3 get paid with the standard 50%/30%/20% payout structure.

I once got told, the best time to play on Stars is about 8-9am, because that's when all the Yanks come in drunk from the bars and start playing.

Not sure if this is true though.

Glasgow definately, 9 slightly wuzzicked opponents to be found in Cincinnatis 6 nights a week for sng frollicks.
Best time is just now coz all the students just got their grants.

First time I've read this one Tank and have to admit to being impressed, I do however feel very sorry for all your ovine friends who are being neglected out there because of all the time you're spending playing poker!
Maybe you should think about one of those blow up ones, at least you will only be letting her down when you let the air out!!..lol

Day 9 - A special thanks to all those who offered me encouragement in this endeavour at blondebash, aswell as all those who have stopped by this thread and posted their well wishes. Knowing my progress is being followed drives me forward.

I've been moving towards playing these things by batches of 4, as opposed to continously having 4 tables open. That way, all my tournaments are at roughly the same point and the whole thing isn't quite so intense. The drawback is less tournaments played, as I need to wait till the last one finishes before I can get the next four started.
I can counter this drop in play volume by moving up to 6/8 tabling if my results stay this good.

I'll need to sort myself out with a bigger monitor first though. If I can manage to 8 table these things effectively by batches then I'll easily knock up 40/50 a day.

I managed 28 tournaments tonight, started at midnight. I was knackered after blondebash, so that's only just after I woke up.

Day 9 Results : +$696 (+$4965.8 total)
ROI - 44.5% after 186 tournaments played.

The Goldstar VIP status milestone was reached today. 214 more and it'll be Platinum.
