Has anyone else watched the Gloves are off programme for the Fury fight??

Klitschko looks so calm, Fury looks like he is going to blow a fuse. He is trying to act like a statesman but looks ridiculous.

I still see nothing but him getting schooled by Wlad, people always think these fights are going to be close before hand, then they turn into blowouts (haye v Wlad, Mayweather v Pacquioiiiiaouioio)

Looking forward to seeing it though!

Caballero comes in 5.5lbs over. Ridiculous.

Amazingly the fights not getting called off. Crazy stuff when Haskins has bust his balls to come in under 118lb.

A few firms have suspended betting. I wouldn't mind all bets being voided.

Its a disgrace. No doubt Haskins will go ahead and fight due to the $ on the table but the board shouldn't allow it. 5.5lbs is a massive advantage at that weight. Caballero will have known for weeks he wasn't going to get close yet said nothing. You have to feel for Haskins.

Haskins gets the freeroll for the vacant title, then. Plus a lot of neutral support one hopes.

It's a disgraceful situation though for a Bantamweight to be so far over. 118lb...not 123.5. Roll Eyes

Fight off apparently. It's the right thing to do. As tempting as the freeroll was the likelihood is he would have been taken out. He has the interim belt so will still get his shot, he will just have to wait for it.

He is automatic for the vacant now then, right?

Early reports say he's been elevated to full champion.

I know nothing about boxing, but a decent judge has told me I should back Murray to beat Abraham tonight.

Thoughts?

I could only be backing Murray at current prices. It's hard to say where Abraham is at when he repeatedly fights Robert Stieglitz and Paul Smith.

edit: I'm still undecided about whether or not to back him.
