Credit to Povetkin for that one and none to the ref. Perez could of been seriously hurt as the ref had never did the basic checks to see if he could defend himself.
Are we underestimating how poor these vunerable fighters could be? And that's mainly in reference to heavyweights, when things go wrong for a heavyweight they seem to go very very wrong.

I'd like DeGale to bring home the belt but 2.42 Dirrell on the machine is too big. Haymon paid a fortune to get the fight in the States. If it's tight Dirrell will get the nod.

Paying a fortune for the fight and letting Howard Foster be one of the judges was a boo boo!

This is even worse than the commentary. I've seen better fights outside Wetherspoons.

Chunky fought that last 6 rounds like a man with 2 broken hands.

"Leave it darren, he's not worth it!" Oh and that's absurd. Great for DeGale, don't get me wrong, but I've got him 3 behind!

looking forward to froch's view. His arrogant cheeky grin as he lent back in his chair in the studio before they went to the ad break was quite funny!

Probably thinking, I wonder if Eddie could PPV this, to save me fighting Drago's little brother...

Why is it in almost every fight nowadays there is a joke card 117-109 is a disgrace. There were five rounds that Dirrell won comfortably. DeGale a tad fortunate to get away with that given his performance in the 2nd half of the fight.

Did they say it was 9 years since his last title fight? Can see why, when he puts in cards like that.

Those GGG negotiations reek of a publicity stunt to get fast car's name printed in every boxing media outlet going. If Froch wanted GGG then this could of been made a long time ago. You shouldn't put anything past fast car after cheque gate and the insulting offers made to Nonito Donaire.

Any sympathy I had for last weekends piss poor scorecard has gone out the window after the 90sec gap between rounds 2 and 3 was pointed out.
You might recall the Degale and Dirrell both standing up and raring to go at the start of round 3 only for the referee to hold up the proceedings. In the moment you don't notice the time and assume everything is running on schedule. In hindsight the extra 30secs for Dirrell to recover stinks to the high heavens.
