what about ketchup? that says store in the fridge and use within 6 weeks. does anyone actually do either of those things?
Yep - both. Always kept in the fridge and used so often it wouldn't survive six weeks anyway.

I have a jar of sun dried tomatos in olive oil. it says to keep in the fridge for less than a week after opening. less than a week is strangely vague obv but lol just lol @ anyone who really follows those instructions, either the time or the location. I'll keep that jar in the cupboard for as long as it takes to get through them, they're not going to ever go off

Tomato Ketchup should not be kept in the Fridge. I am adamant about that.

That's a poll of its own. I always keep ketchup in the fridge. Annoyingly, my housemate doesn't

The only reason they're on there is because they have to be by law. Even the Government, who are obsessed with introducing OTT rules and regulations, are reviewing this law because so many people are throwing away good food. The "best before" date is merely a guideline therefore any reasonable person uses their own judgement rather than contribute to unnecessary food wastage.

Why waste in the first place? Buy the proper amount and ya won't have to worry about 'use by' 'sell by' or any of that rubbish.
But ketchup very deffo belongs in the fridge.

Grand Prix. OMG it's shite. And it's on the telly today. FML. Give me a good game of rugby any day over this rubbish where they drive round and round in circles. Listening to the commentators is about the only entertaining aspect of this Grand Prix stuff. They obv don't get out much to hear the excitement in their voices as one ape passes out another on the track. Sigh. Think I'll go paint the hallway.
