He just got it in with against red-dog with no fold equity. Guarantee he will find it versus me but at least it will make for a story.

Lol what is it with KQ? Just got slowrolled and rivered on by the . He was freerolling but he took minutes to make a pretty trivial call. Then got AQ all in pre and KQ rivered a straight. Brutal scenes. End of the heater by the looks of things!

Wow. Yesterday was a complete disaster. Was the third time since I started my career that I remember being in physical anguish. It literally hurt my brain to run so bad hand after hand. It was the easiest, juiciest lineup I remember being in for a long time and obviously that's when I decide to rack up a ton of bad beats.

I made the executive decision as I was driving home that I was going to pay the gym a visit. I decided that if I wasn't going to be stacking any chips for a while that I might as well exert some of this frustration and stack a machine or two. I stacked the lower back extension (which isn't all that hard as it only carries 67.5kg) and I tried to stack the leg press, but fell quite a way short. Massively improved my personal best on it though, as I also did with lats and upper traps. My body isn't even that broken this morning and I really wanted to put another session in today but when I got there some guy was a massive prick to me and it really put me off. If there was another local gym I might have clapped him one but decided his short term health directly corrolates to my long term health. I got half way through my warmup before I felt the poker hangover coming on. I'm currently writing this from my car waiting for my friend to finish at the gym.

Unsure if I'm in the right frame of mind for Gala later. Will decide closer to the time.

Faded Gala last night. In fact I just slept all day. Had a huge meal in the evening because I'd slept through lunch (not ideal when I'm supposed to be getting through around 3000 calories) and that knocked me right out again. Love days like that. Absolutely no chance to dwell because asleep.

There might be a bowl game I can do my nut(s) in tonight. In the meantime I'm going to watch this adorable cat stroll about in my garden.

So gave poker a miss the last couple of nights. Thought about staying in bed and sulking today, but decided better of it. See this variance through and get back on this heater. I'm going to surprise nobody when I say that I am not back on said heater. I mean, what's the point in being on top of the world for more than a few days anyway? Between Sunday and now I've dropped around 10% of my net wealth. Graph is starting to look like child with a crayon again.

If I don't hit my target for the year I'm probably going to have to quit again, which is going to start getting very embarrassing. I can't seem to ride a wave at the moment. Eight winning sessions undone by two losses. I don't understand why it's so hard to win yet so easy to lose. I know the general consensus will be "selective memory," but it feels like AA is greater than for £50 and AA is less than for £300. A couple of winning sessions and I'll be full of confidence again, but this is something that's been bothering me for ages. What does it take to just win a big pot these days when I don't even get stacks in with a straight flush greater than the second nut house?

Gala tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. Everyone else is going to luckbox the GPS, win the dinner flips, get a cheeky massage at the table. I'm going to grind the 50/1 game as I did three years ago, while trying not to touch anything.
