You're sure you can handle the £10 swongs mate?

It was good to get my feet wet again last night. I'll try not to get carried away, but I remembered how to enjoy poker again last night, even when we were doing a lose. Hopefully it will be a while before I sink into despair again, 'cause it's a pattern I'm very tired of repeating. Long story short there were no hands of interest, I won a decent amount, the table talk was lots of fun, and I get to take back a lot of what I said about Alex and two kings.

I made dinner for the family last night as a gift to my mother (as well as some flowers; moms love flowers) and was going to post video of what someone who isn't short circuiting the whole house looks like in the kitchen, but in the frantic dash to get everything together on time, I forgot. Plus it was steak, so it was down the hatch before I could get any evidence it ever existed. I used 2010's signature sauce, which reminded me that - not only do I have to start thinking of a signature drink/dish/sauce again for 2013 - but I also haven't really compiled any goals for the year. I told Beth I just wanted to "survive" the year, as there are big changes on the horizon, of course February went a long way towards dousing that flame, so it might be time to reassess and make some smaller, more obtainable goals Wink

Sunday today, so that means having all good intention of grinding online all day, but realistically will end up flicking it in for a handful of MTTs, while multi-tabling a Pokemon emulator and eating chinese takeaway.

I never feel like there's that much to write about when we do a win. Maybe that's another indication that I feel "entitled," which is clearly a massive leak in my psychological game. I think something along the lines of "I won money, as I would expect to." Which may be right up to a point, but I think I got to a point where I felt like I was guaranteed to make money. I'm of course aware that losing sometimes is part of the game, but I suppose it's easy for it to escape to a tormented mind that sometimes we lose lots over an extended period of time; sometimes the coin just keeps landing on tails.

Anyway, that's plenty from me pretending to be enlightened.

No crucial hands last night, just a slow and steady profit, made a couple of small mistakes. Something interesting did happen, though; I took a friend down to take a shot and I didn't end up stacking him in a cooler. Cheesy

Marbella is in the pipeline. Think I'm probably going to go this year. Some poker abroad might help me to clear my head. Or I might come back skint, who knows. What I do know is it will make for something a bit more interesting than driving half an hour down the road to sit at a cold poker table in the corner of a dimly lit casino. Smiley

Posting here a few hours before I post on staking thread for benefit of diary regs, that's customer service you know.

I'm playing a micromillions schedule starting tomorrow and extending until Sunday 24th, but I'll be taking Tuesday and Wednesday off. This is for anyone hoping to turn a quick buck into a decent score, to help a struggling poker pro turn a quick buck into a decent score, and also it's a decent sweat because there's some juicy events in there!

My schedule is basically all the holdem micromillions events between 3pm and midnight, plus

The Big 8.80
The Big 22
The Hot 11
The Hot 16.50
The Big 11
The Big 4.40
The Hot 5.50

and on the sunday I include

2x 5.40 Turbo KO's
The Bigger 55
The Hotter 55

For the "hyperactive" event I've given us 50 bullets
For other rebuy events I've given us 10 bullets
I've given us both chances in the 2x-Chance event

I'm selling at a markup of 1.16446 which makes 10% = $100

My gorgeous and lovely assistant BMoney has taken 10% so I've got 40% left. Ideally I'd need stars $ transferred before the schedule starts, although I reckon I can get part way through my first sunday if not Wink

Thanks for your interest. Good luck us.
