Is Matt gonna shave his head but keep the beard? Gotta love upside down heads...

If that's what the fans want, then the beard will stay. We were going to shave his head then his face but we can leave the face for hilarity. Cheesy

Is this Imran ( the doorman at DTD )? If it's not him , it must be his twin bro .

Legend! Yes there will be plenty of facial hair (or, fuzz, as my face has apparently not hit puberty yet) to go with the shiny scalp during the month of november. You will all be at the mercy of my surprisingly ginger mustache!

We're 5% of the way there already! Thanks to donations from kinboshi and Eso, you guys are always good for a great cause.

Come on blondeites, let's really get this thing off the ground. As far as I'm aware, this head shaving malarkey is going to take place IN THE CLUB, so get your donations in early for the best seats!

The link is HERE: justgiving.com/Sean-Belton as well as in my sig. Let's do this! Smiley

Will definitely be donating, is there a time limit?

The charity is a cause close to me, and feel it's very worthy and very admirable of what you are doing.

Also nice to hear that you sound in better spirits about your poker, and hope you get the lot for 2014 x

Hi Dreenie, thank you for your comments. I must point out that it's not entirely altruistic; it keeps me from feeling too guilty and it's a cause close to me as well. Wink

Better spirits in general, I think. I was pondering this the other day; I think having pretty much dedicated my spare time to fitness and playing poker for a living has been a very humbling combination. These are two areas where it is beneficial, if not essential, to check your ego at the door. Once there is no ego, there is just objectivity, and the realisation that at some point it's going to go horribly for long periods of time. Just have to find your way out of those plateaus one way or another. Smiley

How's poker for you? Don't see you at Dusk much these days?

edit: the event takes places roughly this time next month, so there's plenty of time. Smiley

We're at 7% now guys and on Thursday night I got some unbelievable news.

A regular at the club and living success story of the support and dedication of the Macmillan team, Steve Freeman, came up to me and said "my life was in Macmillan's hands," and agreed to donate a whopping £500!! An incredible donation for a number of reasons. Amazing! Thank you.

So, if Steve can donate a full buyin, then surely you generous boys and girls of the Blonde Poker community can spare a couple of big blinds Wink Link is in the signature. Thank you for your continued support guys. Smiley

Big big thank you to MelissaChloe who donated a whopping £100 yesterday! "It's for a good cause," she said modestly. You're not wrong, Melissa. Smiley

Thanks also to flushthemout for his donation and verndog for his continued donation of his "change" when he cashes out.

To those of you who haven't got on board, what are you waiting for? Just flick in a five or ten; your small change makes a big difference.

Last night something pretty unusual happened.

We had a queen and a queen. Fred opens to £7, we call, Skalie makes it £25, Bash colds calls, Fred calls. We make it £125. Skalie ships for £350, Bash is all in for £200, Fred folds, we call.

This is all fairly standard, but what happened next was truly astounding.

The board ran out T92 2 2. We held. We won with queen and queen. That's not easy to do.

As you were.
