Quick question - as you can now re-enter into the SAME flight you busted from - do you have to pay the reg fee again or is it just a standard re-buy?

+ Reg fee again.

Looks like they are running four online satellites every evening now if I've read the text message I just received correctly...

You're in already, aren't you?

It's a re-entry at 60E

4 online tourneys tonight, I'd still like to see some in the daytime though - I can't be the only one who'd play them?

They have chip n chair satty's to some of their reg tourneys on DTD- can they not do this for the 60 Euro flights? Make it like 5 Euro and make the comp a flip

I like the idea of the €60 flips and have even suggested this to DTD via email.

Maybe even make them juice free just to try to reduce the overlay.

Possibly run some hyper turbos as well.

Having thought about it though it kind of defeats the object of it being a 3 day comp as you would then have different structures for day 1.

Even though we all know that day 1 is a satellite that's not really the point.

If DTD go down this route to drum up some interest I think they need to do them online as well as live and reduce the juice.

The likes of Dubai who might consider this comp for the value won't travel to Notts to spend a few quid flipping for something that they might not even get in.

If they can spend a few hundred online then it may be worth it as they would then be travelling for an €800 to €1000 comp with a €250k guarantee.

Make them 1 chip auto all in and give plenty of time to register and some people might just reg a few and forget all about them hoping to get in.

I don't think they can really do direct day 2 buyins or flippaments or whatever since it's not really fair on the people who qualified already. We all know that most people who are playing (including me) aren't qualified for a genuine 500 euro buy-in.

I see your point but I am much more concerned about the club on this occasion. We're not talking about a big greedy casino who has no regard for the players. DTD has always tried to do best for poker players imo and therefore we can break a few rules on this occasion

I think the angle of "we must support the club" is a bit overdone. Fair enough, I am glad DTD exists, think it has had a great effect on the UK poker scene that would live on even if it disappeared tomorrow, and I'm grateful for the money Rob has put into poker. In general, I try and make sure most of my live play is there for that reason.

But at the end of the day how they run their business is up to them, and if they end up running a huge overlay through bad judgement on their part, it's not our fault.

Agree to disagree on this one. I for one, will continue to actively support DTD.
