Well my rungood is not like Poshboy's but yesterday was another decent day all round after Bruno Senna took the last point paying place with 10 laps to go of the F1 and held comfortably to give me a £126 winner @ 2/1 and god knows how much Dubai has made from my selections this week, which was then swiftly followed a wager on Spurs to beat Southampton at 10/11 with £178 riding on them and subsequently a further profit.

I really fancied both teams to score in the Marseille vs Lyon match but it was abandoned so no further bets were placed and I settled down to a full Sunday Pokerstars schedule, well "the big 11" and "the bigger 55" anyway and was 1 tableing very quickly but at least it was the 55 and on the bubble was able to ride it out smoothly then a few hands later and were in the top 100 and held in the top 50 until a card and spot dead spell of 2 hours until with 45 left I lost AKcc vs 88 vs KK to finish 45th for about $550 or something around that.

I cant remember being on the right side of so many selections in a row and my only loser yesterday was a random £12.50 placed on 3-3 in the Chelsea v Man Utd game which if that would have come in might have even made me buy a lottery ticket or 20!!

Last few days of the month at work now so we will see what Monday brings which is usually a few deals and then a few abortives to boot as well...

Had a pretty manic couple of days with month end at work which finished solid if not spectacular and my rich vein of punting form continued this week but started with a loser when having studied the markets for the Monday night footie in the Sheff Utd v Prtsmouth game the only bet I liked was the bookings index 15-35 inc at 11/8 but it was very close between that and the 0-35 market with Hills at 17/20 but opted for the former and after instructing Dubai to place £240 @ 11/8 we were quite happy to see 0 cards at half time and with 25 mins to go needed 1 or 2 bookings to scoop but unfortunately the Arbitrator didnt see things the same way and it was a first loser for a few days.

Tuesday was a day off from work for me and we had our 20 week baby scan at the hospital and fingers crossed again everything seems to be going well with the rest of the day being DIY based (I know I know it's an interesting life I lead now) doing the sanding of the floorboards in one of the bedrooms so after Christmas we can move Maxwell into a bigger room and give him enough time to acclimatise whilst we get ready for the sleepless nights (for Petra) that go with a newborn.  Punting wise Tuesday night was a small amount of profit having told Dave the night before I fancied Villa I ended up splitting stakes and backing Wigan to be winning at & FT and the could not win at either so a Villa late winner proved a +£30 day and got Dave to ship me back some ££ as it looks like the flat sale is not going through for a further couple of weeks and we need some extra cash for building work happening whilst in St.Kitts.

Weds and after a convo with Claypole I had £50 on Zeyran in the 4.15 lingfield and had already got Dave to put my final £330 he was holding on Chelsea to qualify last night at 1.77 on BF so with seconds left as Chelsea win a penalty to draw I get a text from Dubai which read "Houdini" and from there it was one way traffic and a further £250 added to my roll.

So Cliffs wise - whilst on holiday in Malta I called in a bet with Man Utd to beat Liverpool and got lucky, spun it up a bit whilst away and then left it with Dave, spun it down a bit and bought a bit of "winter wonderland" leaving me one bet which spun back to over a grand and then further spins by being selective resulted in cashing out £1300 plus Dave holding the UKIPT entry for next week and a further £580 of bets waiting to be placed (see below)

My final bets placed today are

£380 on Groupie Doll in the Fillies and Mares sprint @ 11/10 and a
£200 treble on Bournemouth, Carlisle both to win Sat in the FA cup and Excellebration in the Breeders Cup mile at 8/13, 1/3, 6/4

It's been an epic spin so far and it may continue with one or both of these bets winning the weekend...

£200 treble on Bournemouth, Carlisle both to win Sat in the FA cup and Excellebration in the Breeders Cup mile at 8/13, 1/3, 6/4

It's been an epic spin so far and it may continue with one or both of these bets winning the weekend...
Top part was an easy winner and returned 4/6 in the end but couldnt quite get the treble in

All bets are on for the day and along with the bets above I'm on

£30 EW War Singer  2.35 Ascot ' 13/2

£60  for there to be a RED Card in the Norwich vs Stoke match at 9/2

Placepot at Santa Anita tonight  1-11/ 4-8/ 3-12/ 7-11/ 6-9/ 2-10  64 bets at 50p

and over 2.5 goals in
Man Utd, Liverpool, Watford, Huddersfield  £50 acca plus a £20 acca those with  Dortmund, Malaga, Valencia
And all of these a wash out plus the £98 wagered on the big Breeders cup race trying to get the fav beat which I did but my selections finished 3rd and 4th,  but if anyone saw the Norwich vs Stoke game imo I was unlucky not to get a red card for Etherington after he lashed out towards the end of the game.
The rest of the weekend consisted of me driving to DTD friday for the £150 and after a slow start managed to build a decent stack getting to 58k with the average at 40k and blind 1/2k but then I had already got a phone call from Petra giving me grief about the possibility of playing Sunday  which was preying on my mind abit and I overplayed "the Beltons" (QQ with the ) on a 862cc board 10c turn by 3b'ing the turn AI and my oppo had A8cc and that sorted out the issue of having to drive back up the M1 sunday so instead turned my attention to the F1 betting.

I had Shallow holding the Groupie Doll winnings so got him to put on what I perceived to be the best bet of the F1 which was 2/7 Vettel to finish in the points (top 10) and whilst many people would say 2/7 is too short I can honestly say if I had £7k spare I would have been happy investing on this bet as under normal circumstances these guys are 1/8-1/9 to finish in the points and although starting at the back of the grid as they said prior to the race they had tweaked the torque to give him more power and the £500 at 2/7 was landed with him getting on the podium, unfortunately I had previously got him to place a £200 double on Vettel points and Liverpool vs Newcastle over 2.5 goals paying around 5/4 and after the equaliser this should have been home and hosed but this man
http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/3357/jonjo.jpg[/img]]
spurned a hattrick of chances late on to deny another small coup.

My first bet of the week is already on and placed and it is in the Celtic vs Barelona game where I fancy Barcelona -1.5 goals on the Asian handicap at 19/20 so basically Barcelona have to win by 2 goals for the bet to cop with my reasoning being that whilst Celtic defended like trojans in the reverse fixture the home crowd will be expecting a better attacking performance which will leave open the room for Barca to play their sexy football and I have stuck £342 out of my balance of £642 with Dave on it.

Really looking forward to UKIPT Bristol this week and whilst it's gonna be a lot of driving as we (Dubai) leave early Thurs morning and back in one day then are back Saturday either way as he is in the High Roller and I will be in the £300 side event if not deep into day 2 with hopefully an overnight on saturday for day3 or 2 in the side required and then its only 10 days till St.Kitts which obv I cant wait for!!!

Cheers Jase,
When I said drive I meant we drive to city airport and get in his jet and the pilot drives before the above mentioned Limo picks us up the other end and ferries us to the casino  Wink

Srsly though I have a VW Golf as a company car which is big enough atm but may need to be knocking on the boss's door for an upsize soon.

Booked another small win with Shallow last night when after a bit of study £150 was wagered at 6/5 on First match goal after the 28th minute in the West Brom v Southampton match and after only 1-2 chances early on it was a sweat free selection and banked £180 profit in the only bet of the day.

I spoke to a couple of people the weekend who said how come I post after the event but I cant always be online but as all bar my Saturday punts are placed with Dubai recently I know he would call me out if either the amounts were different or if I missed anything out.

My selection for today is over 4.5 cards in the Dynamo Kiev v Porto match at 4/5 and have £180 riding on it plus as posted a short while ago have a decent bet on Barelona -1.5 goals running for tomoz night also, today I spoke to Vinny who is now joining us on our trip to Bristol and has already told me he has no Petrol or Nando's money so not a lot changes there!!

Both these were blanks unfortunately

And these were looking decidedly terrible after a bad ride from Mr Kelly on Sirius and until Kilmarnock scored 3 second half goals to record a small loss on saturday but Sunday was a better day when I got Shallow to put on a double of £240 on over 2.5 goals in the Wolfsburg vs B.Leverkusen match which was weighed in after 30 minutes and a nitty Chelsea/Draw Double chance at 1/5 with the double paying a shade over Evs getting back the losses and some from Saturday.

This week has started quietly with 0 wagers placed since Sunday and just grinding work which is going well in the first days of Noember which 20k of Nett sales so far and over halfway to target for the month already.

I hope you don't mind me stealing you F1 Senna bet for Tikay's thread, but I did say it was your original idea. Since I saw you do it a while back I have done it 3 times and each time it has weighed in. Enjoy your holiday.
