What?

Who's buying me dinner tomorrow? Ffs, stuck with arbboy by the looks of it.
There is a 1 hour dinner break at 8pm so in the unlikely event** that you are still in and the kids are asleep I will come and find you.

Ahh, I understand now - The Vin is playing Sarfend. He can ignore my question now.

Think the Westcliff Casino may have been the first time you & I played poker together?

If so, it was nearly 4 years ago, a £300 Main Event. With 14 runners......which ended up as a 4 way chop, lol. 4 way chop in a 14 runner affair!

To be fair, we chopped to save returning the next day, for Day 2, as the Casino inexplicably refused to allow us to play to a conclusion on Day 1.

Can't see your name there, though?

Oh yes I remember it well as they had big trouble getting runners for anything over a £100 and 14-17 was the spread for most of those tournaments sadly.

We spoke about my friend the golf guy and I made that speach play against a good friend of mine where I induced him to call with a set although it was a bit questionable and a poss angle.

I made a thread about it which had a mixed response but I knew my friend would take it in good spirit and I had seen Roberto do it on telly a few weeks before and wanted to try it

Ha, what a great thread you linked to.

I remember the whole incident, as if it were yesterday.

I so nearly ruined the coup though, as the moment you said "good call" & did all the theatricals, I KNEW what was going off & burst into laughter.

In that hand where I limp-folded, I probably had K-K. Can't be too careful, eh? My annual bluff with 3-2 was most satisfying, though.

Strange, a two bit Tourney with a handful of runners, but in my little file of poker memories, I've rarely had a more enjoyable evening.

Your m8 was good craic, too.

Interesting how, in that thread, you got so bashed up, as people did not read the situation properly. It was just 2 mates, joshing, having fun.

Cheers guys

Started badly and chipped down to 65k by playing one hand QQ badly and trying to be a wizard in another but regrouped and won a pot to get to 95k again before 3b'ing a Thomas Buust open from 4600 to 8500 in co at 8/1600 and Q9dd he peels and off to the flop we went which came 7104dd he checks, we bet 8500 he insta peels turn he checks I decide to take the free on and the rivers and he checks again I bet 12k and he counts out 42k and pushes it across the line and then stares at me intently.

I tell him I have the nut blocker to the hand he should have here and call and he mucks.

Won a few pots with the best hand then open 46dd to 5200 at 12/2400 young guy peels the bb and we flop 345 one diamond he cks we bet 5100 he calls to see a turn he cks we bet 8500 he peels again and we get to the river where he bets 25k with 25k back we ship and he snaps j9dd and we now have 110k instead of 250k Sad

GG GPS unfortunately guys as utg1 opens to 6k at 1500/3000 David laronde flats, next guy flats, sb flats and we have 74k in the bb and JQhh obv we could take the low variance route and flat but felt jamming gets through a lot as long as OR hasn't got it and after he folds it folds to the sb who eventually calls with 99 and there was no sweat except the overs draw which didn't get there so we bust in 40th Sad

I've noticed in a lot of reports over the last few months that you seem to flat bigs hands pre. I'm talking about QQ+ really. Is this something you are aware of? And why do you do it so much?

Nice to see you both at sunny sarfend.  I might move there if i could run like eso seems to.  Given me rubs to check some racing results for him during the gps when he knows he is already weighed in.  Toasty life having these 12/1 and 5/1 mug doubles that cop.
