We'll got here ok and we have had snow today with the mountain tops covered and looking great.
It has been great to see Petra and the kids and the change in both of them after just 4weeks is incredible, Ivy has become a little lady with pigtails and Max is speaking some words Slovak some English to his Babka (Grandma).
Today is St. Nicholas day who is seen as the bringer of gifts and obv is a character with a beard looking like Father Christmas but is accompanied here by a devil (knecht ruprecht) and an angel who acts as the counterweight to the devil.
Here in Slovakia the children have to put a shoe on the window sill and then this morning they find candy mainly but some small gifts in the shoe or under the pillow and then Christmas Day is on the 24th.
Milli would probably love all of that but not when he finds out the tree and decs don't go up until the 23rd..
Didn't realise this was so widely done until this year when my Polish girlfriend informed me about it. We've used it as an excuse to eat heaps of food. Glad you had a sound flight, enjoy! Oioi jus sounds like a thin " I play poker have a job and a GF brag" but didn't want to put it in my own diary imo

She's a fish hater as am I, although it's traditionally Polish she's more than happy to avoid this specific tradition. Just selectively choosing which parts of the tradition she enjoys and avoiding the ones she doesn't, bit of a cop out

Got quite a lot to catch up on later but for now thought would just post this which is from one of my competitors and was displayed on Rightmove as a property recently listed in their internal photographs. Spot the obvious mistake... Click to see full-size image. |

I know I have said it before on here but it simply amazes me how some estate agents run. How can someone possibly use an photo like this to sell a property?

Aside from the fact that the curtains/blinds are shut? And there's so much stuff in there you actually have no way of seeing the place?

Confirmed ridic.
Carpenter appeared as himself in all eight episodes of the second half of the fourth season of Oz. He plays a contestant in a fictional TV game show called Up Your Ante that the prisoners in Em City are watching. The show within the show is hosted by Gordon Elliott, with Eartha Kitt and Didi Cohn appearing as celebrity participants.
