Been a funny old week. I was ill at the start of the week and as a result, did not get to the gym as much as I wanted.

However, very pleased with my eating for the week, and am pretty confident every day I ate less calories than I burned.

But....yet again, a friends birthday at a curry house is on the cards tonight. I fear because of the lack of gym action, this will ruin everything, and also, might actually make me a bit 'fuller' at weigh in tomorrow morning.

I am hoping for a small weight loss tomorrow, 1lb maybe, but I'm paranoid.

Weigh in after a night out will give a false reading m8, I'd weigh in tonight and then again next weekend. Try not to get caught up in the 'ruining everything' mindset when you have a social night out, it's not gonna matter long term if you have a week where circumstances cause things to go off track.

Long term goals will still be met and as you said yourself you've had a really good week all in all bar being ill so enjoy!!

cheers fella

I am still gonna stick to Sunday weigh ins, I have ran a little bad with so many saturday curry nights out this early in the year, but I think I have a pretty solid month ahead of me with no major piss ups, so I'll just have to take my lumps (and hope I has a dumps) tomorrow morning

Actually I had a curry/pissup this time last week, so in theory if I have lost weight it will show tomorrow, as it will be the same conditions as the week before.

Up bright and early as I am off on what is now my standard 5 mile countryside yomp, the pics from which can be seen in blonde camera club, where some of us sophisticated types hang out.

Anyway quite disappointed with this week, had 4 good gym sessions and was really strict on food, only drank water and only managed a loss of 2.8lbs, this puts me 0.2lb from a total loss of 2 stone.  Sunday is treat day, even though i didn't reach my 5lb target I am still gonna finally scoff some pancakes, have a nice tea and maybe even a few drinks if Liverpool can do a bink.

Week = - 2.8lbs
Total = - 27.12lbs

The reason i wanted to post a decent number this week and next is i have some very big wknds coming up. Got LVTC next wknd, then mates 30th in Glasgow at end of March then a couple of mates are down visiting on 7th/8th April. I figure each one of those wknds is +5lbs. After that I have a pretty much clear path apart from a Jersey Shore party I am going to on 2nd June. My first real goal date is 9th July. By then I would like to have lost 8 stone total, so I have 18 weeks to lose a further 6 stone which works out at avg of 4.6lbs per week. Do-able but it is going to be very tough. Probs having goals like this could be quite -ev and I should probs stick to trying to just be healthier and get to the point where i don't have to buy clothes in clown or tent shops..

Keep it up fellow fatties and Matt you fatty wannabe.

14st 7 3/4lbs for a lol 1/4lb weight loss, but still a pound higher than my lowest weight so far.

As I mentioned in several (whiney) posts, I have had two weeks of birthday meals/pissups, valentines meals, and was ill at the start of the week.

Thankfully the next week should conjure up no such pissups. I might be going to Gibraltar the following week for work, but if I do, I will be putting in a massive plan to avoid a disater of a week - including a possible weeklong side prop/forfeit system.

But if I don't go to Gibraltar in a weeks time, it is plain sailing for all of March.

Aim for the next seven days is to post a 2-3lb loss to get back on track.

Pretty pleased with 20lbs total loss so far. Lots of people are noticing now which helps. I do need to re-find my focus tho, too many piss ups ending with bad food!

Don't know if I mentioned before but this challenge helped me discover a love of sushi. Started on those little packs from the m&s. Went to yo sushi! In Harvey nichols and it was 10x better than the pre-packs... Now I'm organising a trip to a better sushi place in Leeds and as I'm in London in a couple of weeks really want to go for some there.

Might ask Dubai for a good place to go as I'm sure he's a huge sushi fan.

16st 2 this morning for a push on the week.  Pretty happy with that, had a couple of minor infringements that weren't part of the plans, but otherwise the food re-introduction has been going pretty well.  It didn't feel too difficult to make adjustments as I went, no feelings of deprivation (even tho some food types are still verboten) so hopefully that was a consolidating week and I can slice off a pound or two this week.  Bit more exercise wouldn't hurt tbf...
