My old man is trying to tuck me up, I get a phone call at lunchtime while I'm still asleep from him and not only does he wake me up but asks if I want any pasties from the gaff which makes them too!!

Diet 17/01/12

300g Chicken Breast
1/2 Pro 50
200g Lamb Cubed
2x Pitta
Choc/Banana Shake

Protein 203.5g
Carbs 70g
Fats 40g

Cals 1520

Nightmare day tomorrow but hopefully all worth it, in hospital for most of the day then back home to work which is gonna be a looooooooooong day with only 5 hours sleep tonight too. Hopefully I'll be home by 4/430 so I can grab a nap before I start work.

Got my infusion first thing and I've timed it so I should get enough time to go eat before I see the neuro. Looking forward to it in a way as we might finally make some headway into the problems and get me back causing a nuisance of myself somewhere other than around the house Cheesy

Anyone been watching the Biggest Loser? The weigh-in was ridiculous last night, everyone tried really hard and they barely lost a pound between them, but this one useless Irish lad who kept giving up and crying inexplicably lost 9lbs.

Probably would have been a good watch for anyone here to show that there is a massive amount of variance in a one week weigh-in and not to get too results orientated about it week to week.

Couple of slices of a domino's pizza a week as a main meal isnt going to be the end of the world if your good the rest of the week and exercising.

If you eat the whole pizza though Paul then you may have an issue!

I'm going to try this method.

LOL 'A couple slices' sure would be what happens when anyone in this thread rings up the boys at Dominos

Eating a whole pizza once a week isn't going to do any harm if you're doing what you said above Stu, it's if you're eating pizza one night and Chinese the next etc.

That said if you're on the Dominos a couple days in it's not gonna bode too well for the rest of the trek

Completely agree

Just think some of the guys are over stressing the diet side of things a bit which in the long term will make it a lot harder to keep up imo

For the bigger guys they could be eating some pretty nice meals, still keeping down to about 2k cals a day, add in some exercise and it will drop off.

For me exercise is the key to 95% of people losing weight, there's only that 5% who are disciplined to lose weight through pure diet/healthy eating.

I'm not one of those 5% but managed to shift 2 stone in the last 7/8 months with a mix of cycling (lucky that I can cycle to work)/swimmming and making sure I walk everywhere I can, I still eat out once or twice a week, have a takeaway every couple of weeks etc.

I could never shift weight purely on what I eat, I think people worry too much about having treats etc, get exercising and have treats and the 'not having any treats' will just kill you and most if not all will give in at some point.

Just my opinion.
