I expect I probably do have a weak core. The guy showing me the stuff said it would get better, just need to use those muscles. I think I may do the crunches at home for now, me lying down wobbling on a gym ball isn't the best of sights, I know people there don't give a toss but I still feel funny about it Lol at becoming an adonis, I think I've left that a bit late You should do it at the gym with your instructor as he can see your technique and will be able to give you pointers. How much are you shelling out for trainers btw? Making much difference doing that?

I don't have a regular instructor, they took my measurements etc and gave me a quick once over, worked out programs, then showed me around everything and talked me through the programs, just down to me now. It was all part of the service when joining the gym. Get a check up in 3 months and a reassesment in 6 months.

I would say it makes a difference to me as he does a lot of conditioning work with me. If i was on my own id never do pressups to fail and sit ups dips and pull ups etc. Plus i box once a week with him.

Thats the reason i booked him 3 times a week so it would make me go. Not had him this week as his cars playing up

Bought my next "reward" - nice to get used to associating rewards to something other than food. Diving World Cup at the Olympic Aquatic Centre in Feb:

It's not superb food but if you are eating with macro targets in place you can manipulate them so it fits in. Generally it's high carb, moderate fats and low protein. Good fats though and hardly any saturated according to nutrition calcs. 100g is 177cals Protein 5g Carbs 20g Fats 9g

Depends whether you eat it, drown in it, put 20kg of it in a bag and drop it on your head from 10000 feet..... Sorry. I'll go away now.
