Sausage are bad but a couple of skinless on the George won't harm. also grill ur bacon. scramble ur eggs, don't have mountains of toast and it should be fine Wink

Definitely a brag that I made day 2 of the 150 deepstack lol.

Good luck on Sunday hope to be joining u there.

I think having a treat each week is fine as long it's not to excessive. I've been pretty good with food most of my treats have been beer but if I cut everything out I would have fallen of the wagon weeks ago.

Ok I think we need a short term incentive to give us a kick up the arse.

I propose that if by NEXT sunday we are not below (not same, below) the weight we posted LAST week we give a one off payment of £50 to charity.

I'll do it if you guys do?

I was 16st 8lbs last week, I don't know what I am now but I've deffo put on this week.

I was 23st 9 last week after a 5lb gain so if i am not less than that by next Sunday i might as well give up now. So yea. I am in.

Anybody sweating a nifty?

Not me. Been real good all week. Tempted to get an Indian tonight though, will see how it goes. Just been Tesco with the missus to get stuff for every meal I have planned next week and didn't get one thing which isn't healthy which isn't like me at all. There was a bucket of Haribo normally a tenna for £5, the old me would have been balls deep in that bucket before I had even got to the till. Also, my new skipping rope arrived and I am an absolute boss, the timing is down, just need to work on my stamina 90 seconds of speed skipping and I am in complete bits.

If you want a fry up have one and just have it as a cheat meal, fuck all that skinless sausages and scrambled eggs get the fried eggs on the go and enjoy it. Have scrambled eggs on toast for a normal meal imo, have a couple meals a week where you order what you like be it fish and chips or a curry.

It will help you crack on with the rest of the week when you're making those sacrifices and not giving in. All this talk has got me thinking about sending the old man down to tescos to pick up some tackle for a big old fry up tomorrow now Cheesy

Nah at worst I'll be on my target, could well be 1 or 2 lbs below it.

Need to up the exercise, feel like i'm stalling a bit on the food front.

Expect to maintain or lose 1lb this week.  Few slip ups during the week food wise but nothing major, but no exercise other than walking home from work twice.

With this in mind and my long term goal being a total loss of 5st I am investing in a Bike.  Leeds has a cycle point so I can ride in and keep the bike safe for next to nothing.

Hopefully a chap I know will build a bike for me as I want a nice one.

First 1.5st has gone by focusing on food, but defo think exercise is key to this long term.

Been introducing food types across the week, so a zero weight loss will be a decent result.

I will be happy with maintaining my weight this week. I worked hard at the gym but had three meals out this week plus a few beers tonight, so I have low expectations tomorrow

16:2 this morning.  3 lbs lost on the week and 50 lbs total.

My best week so far.  Half term, so a couple of family restaurant meals on top of the food re-introduction I have been doing.  Still kept carbs pretty much off the menu and have yet to introduce much fruit.  Altho fruit is obv good for you, it's a tough foodtype to reintroduce, so will be doing it slowly.  At the moment, it is mostly shake for breakfast, soup for lunch, shake mid-afternoon and grilled meat + salad for dinner.  Will be dropping the mid afternoon shake shortly and introducing a snack in place, including fruit.  Oh, and I bought all the ingredients yesterday to make a batch of chilli tomorrow, one of my favs.

The reason this is my best week so far is that although it isn't the best absolute weight loss I've had, the mental piece is slotting much better than hoped for.  None of the choices I have made have felt like deprivation.  Altho subconsciously I have been swerving excessive carbs, I have been making a lot of free choices of what to have.  I'm sure the key for me to maintain long term is to continue to want to choose the tastiest options as the norm, and to have anything else once in a while.  If it feelt like deprivation in  the past, it usually led to a bad outcome..

Last night I cooked sirloin steak and served it with a mixed leaf salad dressed in low-fat fiery ginger+citrus with a sprinkling of cheese and croutons.  All from M&S, about £18 for two.  I enjoyed that about 10x more than a £30-£35 ruby that I would normally have had.

For the next 2-3 weeks, will be very very happy with maintenance; any weight loss will be a bonus, breaking 16st would be good.  By the end of that, I will be off meal replacements altogether.
