Me crush? No chance? I just grind.

Today, for the first time, I had to lapse.

Social/business lunch, completely unable to swerve.

Battered haddock, mushy peas, & chips.

I am now full of conscience & bad vibes for wasting x hundred calories.

Its very strange. I am keeping to the plan of cereal breakfast, slow release carb and salad lunch and white meat/veg dinner plus lots of water.

I have most of my clothes all the way up through the sizes and am almost into jeans the size below. I had to try, as I am not doing a great job at holding the current size up!

So clearly there is progress

However as to recording it all faithfully on here, I don't know. I know I should. Sorry, don't know what it is.

My mind is a funny place when it comes to food.

Great stuff Rich, well done.

Personally, if you don't want to record daily progress, intake, & weight loss, that's fine.

We are all different, what ticks one box does not always tick another.

I was just worried (hence my nudge elsewhere) that you had fallen off the wagon.

You have a lot of good vibes here, for the best possible reasons.

You are through THE most difficult phase, you just gotta settle into the routine & habits now, & keep the discipline.

I wouldn't worry about it Rich, if what you're doing is working then magic and it seems you're making good progress, congrats!

Personally I find that knowing if I eat crap I will have to post the details on here helps keep me on the straight and narrow. That being said, I think that sometimes it can be very motivating to 'plough a lone furrow'.

Hang a pair of your favourite jeans up in your room in the smaller size or go out and buy a pair of designer jeans in that size. Leave them in view and set a date when you will be able to slip them on. When you can hang up a pair in the next size down. Yeah, personally think the jean dream is better than jumping on scales and will be a visual trigger each morning.

A friend of mine who was huge still wears the same belt he had back then even though he now has to wrap it around his waist nearly twice.

Having to punch a new hole in his belt every month or 2 was a constant reminder that he was still improving.

Keeping the belt now reminds him not to slip in to old habits.
