Planning on going from 3 June to 20 June (17 nights) sneakily leaving the day of EDC. Expect to play a fair amount at Rio and cash (Aria, Bellagio prob). Really enjoy staying centre strip and having options and chance to jump in a game with an empty seat when walking by the poker room and easy access to different casinos (as I don't drive) and doesn't need to be super amazing or anything. With that in mind I've got a price from Expedia of £676.63 for Harrahs as it is convenient and not awful and has Rio Shuttle for days I'm not in a hurry. If anything can find me something fancier for not much more then I would be tempted!
PS great thread!
Short of booking two separate offers at the same hotel directly (9 days then 8 days), which they can refuse, although I've never heard them do this, you aren't going to do any better than that.
Just remember to add on the $306 + tax in resort fees that you dont pay for in Expedia.

Spent most of this afternoon trying to get a flight with BA, and their prices all summer are a joke.
I'll do anything to avoid that Virgin flight, but BA have priced themselves out of the equation.

What dates you looking at Mr W?
I was looking this evening, the Virgin prices are way too expensive, the BA flight from Gatwick (leaves an hour earlier than Virgin) looks a good bit cheaper to me.
We need Inspectors Galloway and Marky on the case.
You'll stay at The Rio, right?

Apparently Virgin have a sale coming around Easter.

Not picked dates yet, so checked out BA flights from late May thru the end of June. Prices were a disgrace but don't know about the early flight. BA is de nuts coz of the times going out imo.
Will check out United and Delta, before booking something and securing a suite at the Quad.

A couple of my mates have tucked themselves up, by waiting for 'the sale', which it appears isn't happening this year...
There is still a chance they may flick a week in after easter, but if that's not the case, Britt had better get his ass into overdrive for you boys
I'm not that well versed in their costs, but flights have gone up a lot in the last few years.
I remember paying about £500 in March 2010, and I don't think it's ever been below £750 this year.
23rd June is the cutoff date, when it switches from 'early summer' to 'main summer', and you'll see that Virgin's prices go up even more after the 22nd.
19/20/21st June is the EDC, so the prices are pretty insane now for those 3 days, and unless you're getting amongst it with the kidzzzz, I'd recommend leaving before, or arriving after it finishes.

Binions posted their schedule, but it finishes a lot earlier than last year for some reason

Ahh, thanks Marky.
We now have WSOP, Venetian, Golden Nuggett & Binions, which is enough to make plans. Presumably Aria, Wynn & the like announce late.
Just 4 PLO/PLO8 Events in Binions, which seems a lot fewer than previously. Never mind, I'll look at it as money saved.

Marky/Mr Galloway,
Have been checking prices of various Hotels, but they all limit me to a 10 or 11 day MAXIMUM stay.
How do I circumvent this?
I'm provisionally looking at (something like) May 25 - June 30.

I would just do the first 11, then the next 11 etc.

Ahh, gotcha - so I can just make seperate bookings, at the same time?
Thats just weird.
Anyway, thank you.

I've never stayed anywhere for a month, but whenever I wanted to check a stay of more than 11 nights at a Harrahs property, that is how I would do it.
I seem to recall there is a problem with booking a stay to start the same day you check out, because it registers you as already having a booking*
*May have been an old problem with the website
I had to make 2 bookings at the Nugget this year, and they just amalgamate them when you check in.

Surely best to email if the website doesnt let you search stays this long?
Cant imagine them not beating the price?

No hotel will let you search for stays that long, some won't even let you search for longer than a week.
Rather than wait around for somebody to get back to me, I prefer to spend 2 minutes working out the price for myself, and then I just call them on Skype if I need to proceed.
One thing I can't imagine, is them getting back to me very quickly if I email
All that aside, I think there is a limit to the amount of time you can spend staying at one hotel (might be 35 days)
If that's the case, he'll have to check out and then check back in at some point for a minute to get around this.
