Booked up for June 8th till the 18th.

Anyone flew with Thomas Cook before? Managed to get Direct flight from Manchester for £449. Seemed a bargain!! Hopefully it is all good...

Oh yeah....First time being in Vegas too!

I am flying Thomas cook from Manchester. Hoping similar hopes to you. Reviews looked OK. Apart from occasionally stopping in Glasgow to get passengers lol

They were fine a couple of years ago, should be more fine these days as they've done a refurb on their long haul fleet recently. Think stuff like the entertainment is now on demand and whatnot.

£449 is a very good price, enjoy!

Thanks guys! That has made me feel a little more relaxed knowing previous experiences have been good.

If in-flight enterainment isn't great then I'll try get some sleep on the flight.....if that is possible with the excitement and thought of bopping along the Vegas strip and feeling that heat hit me when getting off the plane!

Hopefully have a successful trip and see a lot of brits out there i'm sure!

Just in case anyone is feeling flush, BA are offering a free one-way upgrade to First if you buy a semi-flexible Club World return.

Booked now via Expedia.

When I go onto the Virgin Website it asks me to pick my seats. Do I need to pay for these?

Just wondering.

Ever so slightly niche but thought it might apply to some blondes.

HMRC have now reduced their charge for paying by credit card to 0.4%. If you have a chunky VAT/corporation tax/income tax bill it could earn you a significant chunk of miles. With the right card it can mean 'buying' Avios at 0.15p per mile.

At£45 per seat exit seats are well worth it mate

Although the new seat layout / refurbished jets seem to have a bit more space for those of us under 6 foot tall !!

That's me screwed.  I'm 6'3.
I can book the very back seats (Row 64 Seats H and K) which are a two instead of a 3.
This is $160 return on the Virgin flight.  Is this decent Value.
