https://www.headforpoints.com/2018/04/13/get-12000-avios-15000-virgin-miles-new-bonus-tesco-premium-credit-card/

Until 11th July, you will receive 5,000 Tesco Clubcard points when you sign up.

There is NO spending target to hit.  All you need to do is make one purchase in Tesco, or online from Tesco Direct, within two months of getting the card.

5,000 Tesco Clubcard points will get you:

12,500 Virgin Flying Club miles which, given their very frequent 20% conversion bonuses, you can reasonably see as 15,000 miles

Wish I was, but a couple months to wait :/

Best of luck out there, and Hell's Kitchen TR, please.

Intending on going myself, at some point this summer.

Hi Marky

I recommend you book early for ; we only just got in!

I've seen it's been rammed for the first couple months, but I'm there for 4 weeks again. My schedule isn't that packed, so should hopefully be able to fit it in, even if just for lunch.

Have fun!

Just a final comment on this one. Went the night before last, and whilst I understand that you have to wait beyond your booked time, there's no seating in the waiting area, and of course there's no room at the bar (unless you're lucky). We had to stand around fir 30 minutes.

The food itself was very good, but it wasn't extraordinary. I like chips with my steak and rack of lamb and I'm not a fan of puréed veg. Have a close look at the menu before you go. There's lots of other places I'd choose before this in Vegas for the money.

That's disappointing, having to wait that far beyond your allotted time.

Though, I'd imagine like most places they have lots of ppl turning up late, and still try accomodating them. I'd email in a complaint, and you might get a free lunch out of it Cheesy

I've been to a few of his restaurants, and most of the stuff is available at GR Steak, which I've been to half a dozen times.

Container Park

Haven’t checked the thread, so apologies if this is a repeat news:

http://downtowncontainerpark.com/

For those of you who may be travelling with young children, this is a great place to spend a couple of hours. Only a short walk from the Freemont Street covered area, you can put the kids (up to 12yo, I’d say) into a secure play area whilst you have a browse around the craft stores. There’s a stage at the end where a mixed bag of live acts do their stuff.

While you’re there, make sure you go to Ernie’s Ribs for the best pork ribs you will ever taste imo. Absolutely fantastic!

There’s a bar with a balcony overlooking the stage, from where you can also keep a lazy eye on the kids.

Intending to take a trip down this year, as I've never ventured further than Le Thai.

Trooper has been down there a couple times, and I want to get some of that 'Monkey Bread' one of the places serves.

Heading to Vegas in December with my sister.

We got 7 nights in the Westgate in separate rooms and a direct flight on Virgin Atlantic from Gatwick for about £450 each. Couldn't really say no at that price.

Very much excited to be going back to Vegas after I had to miss out last year.

My sister is a vegetarian, who doesn't drink and thinks live poker is the most tedious thing in the world. Very much a sanitised trip but I'm sure I will be able to break out on my own for a night for a spot of degeneracy.

Any veggies got any decent places in Vegas she can stuff her face?

All the restaurants in Wynn/Encore have vegetarian menus although unsurprisingly very little value to be had in any of them.

The chances are that wherever you eat there are several reasonable options for her to pick from anyway.  Even if you plot up at a steakhouse she can order a couple of appetisers and that's more than enough food with their idea of portions out there.  Most steakhouses offer several different salads, loads of fish/shellfish (if she eats fish) and various soups/starters.  Most resorts have an Italian restaurant too where it is going to be pretty easy for her to find vegetarian options I just don't think she will have any problems out there, no need to go searching out vegetarian restaurants imo.

Neil asked a similar question the other day.

https://twitter.com/SenseiChanning/status/986165678376931328

Seems vege nation (downtown) and Wynn (strip) are good places.

I wish you'd asked a few days ago, Neil has been retweeting prolifically in the intervening period.
