Are you playing at Dtd next weekend John?
I would love to sir, but I have my Grandparents 60th Wedding anniversary and the entire family are making a big deal of it with a big meal on the Saturday starting @ 1230..

In winslow.

So unless I can finish Day1A with a stack that's invunerable to 4 hours late turnup.. then no.

Smiley

Would love to play the dtd150 deepstack, but i have no more tickets and haven't won a sat as yet.  I'm not planning on playing many this week, maybe just one or two.

Trying... nice spot.  Sick part is there is actually a 95.3% chance i win.  Which means that somehow someone has more than 1% to win this... wtf they're blocking each other!

I'll do hands tomorrow, but total hands today...

good times! (remember that first 1/3 of this is thurs nights two sessions (one good, one bad) AND tonights three (all good).

Cheesy Cheesy

As you can see yesterday the two sessions were +20 then down to -40... and I've got it back up today to +25 and ran bad for another 1.5bi's...

That's a +6bi swing with some runbad tonight... that is a really solid night by anyone's standards.

Really happy, impressed with myself and my discipline tonight...

[X] stuck to 2-3hour session lengths
[X] made time for dinner and a rest
[X] even did some exercise while on a tv break
[X] felt good entire time
[ ] blew up at all
[ ] bluffs always worked
[X] thats poker
[X] play like this I will win @ poker.

so happy.

All the pots we lost over 30bb's... some fun some not so....

http://wt.ag/RqjZUF
possibly thin... I think there has to be a decent range of hands I beat..
I think that his flop bet and turn being the same is significant, but I'm not sure what to do.
50p probably..

http://wt.ag/Rqk3DE
This is unfortunate, i think he is a hero.

http://wt.ag/Rqk4HW
interesting... not enough 'regs' would actually flat, flat, flat.. a note of 'good reg' has been made.

http://wt.ag/Rqk5ve
same thing... most would raise at some point, despite it being bad vs me.

http://wt.ag/Rqk62j
unfortunate..

http://wt.ag/Rqk6zs
50p

http://wt.ag/Rqk9v0
of course

http://wt.ag/Rqk7n2
ez game..

http://wt.ag/Rqkdee
river is possibly thin.. but it makes the hand so much easier to play + still gets value from his non Qx paired range - which might be smaller than i thought actually.

http://wt.ag/RqkaPJ
wtf is he doing???

http://wt.ag/VZ56cV
probably a bad bluff...

http://wt.ag/VZ5b03
unsure about this, betting river makes it easier to not get owned by pairs... but I'm not sure how many he has after calling ott

http://wt.ag/VZ5oR8
for showdown.. he should be folding 10x here... but apparently doesn't.  note made, move on.

http://wt.ag/VZ5tEl
I have been 'owned'... pretty sure I was going to make a good value bet otr if we improved... but I figured he would have pairs here ALL the time.

http://wt.ag/VZ5vvU
that's not the best river I've ever seen.

http://wt.ag/VZ5wjB
ARGH....! this took a LOT of discipline.

http://wt.ag/VZ5Crh
hmmm..... nevermiond.

http://wt.ag/VZ5F6C
meh...

http://wt.ag/VZ5I2h
sighaments..

http://wt.ag/VZ5JmH
im a fish.....

http://wt.ag/VZ5Oa3
interesting way to play your hand sir...

http://wt.ag/VZ5QyB
wtf was I doing in this hand... #noideajohn

http://wt.ag/VZ5Tue
I can only think of one hand we can beat...
  so we fold

http://wt.ag/VZ5YhA
it's a shame... don't love my checking but with his stack size its more likely that he bet/calls bad than call/call. (looks like I have AA)

http://wt.ag/VZ60pR
uhuh... looks like a decent idea.

http://wt.ag/RqkJsJ
i need a hero!

http://wt.ag/RqkJZG
hmmmm.... you have KK... yes.  That is a good hand, you win this pot.  Please enjoy my $$.

http://wt.ag/RqkKwS
you also have KK? yes that wins.

Hand of note
http://wt.ag/VZcyF1
looks easy... but i don't think we beat anything.

Some hands we won..
http://wt.ag/VZ6hsP
nice spot... mbn to peel 5x and flop the 6ball.

http://wt.ag/Rqnyde
way to play your hand bro.. ul on all that equity you thought you had.  (still has a chunk of outs to be fair - Cheesy)

http://wt.ag/Rqnzy3
wiiiiiiii

http://wt.ag/RqnA4Q
nice life.... sigh @ him having a pair...

http://wt.ag/RqnABV
Sickkkkkkkk! binkmepls

http://wt.ag/RqnCKa
What was that about open shoving ranges guys???

http://wt.ag/RqnFWp
SNNNNNAP call + hold = ez game.

http://wt.ag/RqnIkZ
he tried a triple... Sad

http://wt.ag/RqnJoV
lol hmmmmmm.....

http://wt.ag/RqnKcA
hold pls.

http://wt.ag/RqnNFq
sick calldown... Lil'D and I liked this.. raising flop is meh vs his stacksize....

http://wt.ag/RqnOJs
tried to rep a bluff...

http://wt.ag/RqnQ3O
Sick that we don't get it all here.... WTF!

http://wt.ag/RqnUk5
nice hand... in dead? wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

http://wt.ag/RqnTN4
we got hero'd..

http://wt.ag/RqnV7M
its for Bl-alue...

http://wt.ag/RqnYAp
WTF is he doing... I was going to raise/fold river.. but then he did this and I just wanted to see.... 'splashy' note made and will not be folding next time vs him.

http://wt.ag/RqnZEs
LOL... I reckon he probably has Qx or  exactly here... a chunk.  (when he minr/folds I mean)

Railed John for 45 mins last night, though he played gd, I was tired and there were not too many interesting hands but he played good, solid poker, never in tough spots but putting nice pressure on his opponents. Looks composed, good stuff.

A little passive in some spots if anything lol Cheesy

BIG Day...

Lots of swings, swongs... and to be honest, feel like I played like this today.

A*game - 5%
A game - 10%
B*game 25%
B game 50%
C game - 10%

Which is pretty disappointing, but I didn't feel like I was making many/any mistakes in small to medium sized pots.... only really in big pots - and a few of them will be 50p hands.

However what I did do, is make the most of my B*+ game's.

Todays graph is one that shows a +$107.23 finish.
(not bad for mainly B game)

Biggest pots - winners and losers..

http://wt.ag/QOwnLH
This looks and I think is, pretty terrible... only problem is its tough to work out how 'they' will play in big pots since most aren't deep enough for it to matter.
I could certainly see someone have AK/ KQ here a chunk... and I don't expect all of them to fold it all the time.
However I'll be honest I really wasn't sure what to do in this pot purely because I figured it 'could' be tough often to differentiate between AK/KQ/KK/JJ type hands.
On reflection I think I should be betting 30-50% down the streets and just fold if raised at any point.  (just couldn't convince myself to do it at the time)

When he bet so big on the turn it obviously is 'value' but I have seen people play AK like this in smaller pots but identical situations.

http://wt.ag/QOwKpk
I don't like this, but I've NEVER seen anyone do this with AA's on stars zoom ever.  I saw it once on WPT @ 25nl, and I had QQ and also lost vs AA.
However I've had both Pleno and Justinsayne say that in these spots we should just 'flick it in' some % because they will have JJ type hands they don't know how to play.  When I saw the cards unveiled and then the Kball corner pocket I said some swearwords and prayed for him to see a rivered ! for the Chase Burger justice.

http://wt.ag/QOwZRt
pretty meh..

http://wt.ag/QOx3Aw
Not a massive fan.. we went for a cold 4 and then found 'the flop'... which I KNOW smashes 'their' range some % of the time, however when I have cold 4'd and been called, people have often folded Axx boards leading me to believe most people expect me to have AK and they just peel pairs.  When the guy does his thing... there's little I can do, I'm not folding for $5 > $17 with this hand. What I do need to is ensure the 'other guy' comes along for all of his betting discs with any fd's or Ax's.
#gottheresoitsok

http://wt.ag/QOxCu9
Tough to get value here...
I'm stacking AK/ AQ/ 10's/ 6's and 8's no matter what I do on the turn.. but the only way to get something some % of the time from the rest of his range which is considerable... and to potentially get him to bet/call with QJ/ KQ type hands is to check.
He takes a while before betting, so I lean more toward the KK/ QQ part of his range, which means I got 75bb's more than I was going to if i bet.
I will not get hero called down in this spot ever imo.  (however I did get hero'd in a 4bp later... - I was truely gobsmacked).

http://wt.ag/QOxYBb
strange pre from him.. but nice hand I think.

http://wt.ag/QOy0c4
When he snap calls pre, snaps flop and turn... I just shove river to expect the same with his KQ/ AJ hands... thanks mate.
no value in online poker apparently.

http://wt.ag/QOy6AE
This is special.
This went against every fibre of my being at the time... but something just did not add up.  Then his stats loaded and it was like 3 hands.  I hated the whole thing.. especially this turn, since his AQ now wins.  But it just didn't fit, he SNAP shoved turn.
So being a fish, I called... and then properly screamed HOLDDDDDD!
(having expected him to show me A2 and have pleno say something like 'this is burning my money you **** wtf you doing?').

http://wt.ag/QOyfUu
Changed my bet sizing because this guy snapped pre and otf... so I was like "you're getting it son!"

http://wt.ag/QOyi2H
I actually expected him to have fd's a reasonable % (and not always Axss) so when he barells pot on turn, i expected him to be fos a LOT.  I had a bunch of outs and smashed one... ul son.

http://wt.ag/QOypvb
probably 50p - however tbh I think this is a fold pre when he makes it $5.  I have never got it in when they've min3bt/min5bt pre and seen anything other than AA - and its happened 4/5+ times now.
next time this happens I'm folding <AA preflop.

http://wt.ag/QOyzCG
WAL, MBN, sick, disgusting, OMFG, LOL, ROFL, FFS, and any other's you've got lying around.
wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

http://wt.ag/QOyCOW
diamonds are John's best friend apparently.

http://wt.ag/QOyEGv
possibly thin
possibly a mistake
he should have As type hands some %, [ ] going to bluff if i let him
he will hit the J a decent %
he will have 9x sometimes..
really unsure about this.

http://wt.ag/QOyYVX
Got AA in pre... #cantbebad

http://wt.ag/QOz4wy
in retrospect I think this is a mistake.  I think his range is exactly    type hands only..
Bad john.

http://wt.ag/QOzbse
this was deliberate pre because we know 'this villain' is going to flat everything (he had JJ IP pre earlier) and therefore we can take off on A/K type boards a fair bit/ hit the low ones and stack his op's.
[X] we hit
[X] he hit
[X] we hit it harder!
[ ] he folds tp ever to me

http://wt.ag/QOzjYK
possibly spewy/ close pre... but got there and got a stack... Cheesy

http://wt.ag/QOzmUi
what a suprise... he makes it a 5bt to $5 pre and he has AA....
bink a fd... so sick to fade.

http://wt.ag/QOzqDs
interesting choice of turn decision

http://wt.ag/QOzu6c
I think i made his brain explode... I have no other explanation.

http://wt.ag/QOzyTw
nice hold..

http://wt.ag/QOzymz
I knew people were being OOL when they shoved over my cbets.. but up until now I've had AK everytime they do this - so I've folded.

http://wt.ag/QOzDGO
don't love this.. tough for it to be terrible vs his sizing ott... vnh sir, you win the $$.

http://wt.ag/QOzG5A
[X] we hit
[X] he floated then hit
[ ] it helped him

There's a whole bunch more but these are the top 70%.

Overall its been a very successful day and we are back 'up' to -$40 on zoom over 80,640 hands.  With a chunk of bad play still in there.
Want to use this to push and help me continue forward and +ve in $$.

Here's to this week, prior to me leaving on my next work adventure on 13th Oct. Not going anywhere nice, but hopefully I will have internet.
