BIG Day...
Lots of swings, swongs... and to be honest, feel like I played like this today.
A*game - 5%
A game - 10%
B*game 25%
B game 50%
C game - 10%
Which is pretty disappointing, but I didn't feel like I was making many/any mistakes in small to medium sized pots.... only really in big pots - and a few of them will be 50p hands.
However what I did do, is make the most of my B*+ game's.
Todays graph is one that shows a +$107.23 finish.(not bad for mainly B game)
Biggest pots - winners and losers..http://wt.ag/QOwnLHThis looks and I think is, pretty terrible... only problem is its tough to work out how 'they' will play in big pots since most aren't deep enough for it to matter.
I could certainly see someone have AK/ KQ here a chunk... and I don't expect all of them to fold it all the time.
However I'll be honest I really wasn't sure what to do in this pot purely because I figured it 'could' be tough often to differentiate between AK/KQ/KK/JJ type hands.
On reflection I think I should be betting 30-50% down the streets and just fold if raised at any point. (just couldn't convince myself to do it at the time)
When he bet so big on the turn it obviously is 'value' but I have seen people play AK like this in smaller pots but identical situations.
http://wt.ag/QOwKpkI don't like this, but I've NEVER seen anyone do this with AA's on stars zoom ever. I saw it once on WPT @ 25nl, and I had QQ and also lost vs AA.
However I've had both Pleno and Justinsayne say that in these spots we should just 'flick it in' some % because they will have JJ type hands they don't know how to play. When I saw the cards unveiled and then the Kball corner pocket I said some swearwords and prayed for him to see a rivered

! for the Chase Burger justice.
http://wt.ag/QOwZRtpretty meh..
http://wt.ag/QOx3AwNot a massive fan.. we went for a cold 4 and then found 'the flop'... which I KNOW smashes 'their' range some % of the time, however when I have cold 4'd and been called, people have often folded Axx boards leading me to believe most people expect me to have AK and they just peel pairs. When the guy does his thing... there's little I can do, I'm not folding for $5 > $17 with this hand. What I do need to is ensure the 'other guy' comes along for all of his betting discs with any fd's or Ax's.
#gottheresoitsokhttp://wt.ag/QOxCu9Tough to get value here...
I'm stacking AK/ AQ/ 10's/ 6's and 8's no matter what I do on the turn.. but the only way to get something some % of the time from the rest of his range which is considerable... and to potentially get him to bet/call with QJ/ KQ type hands is to check.
He takes a while before betting, so I lean more toward the KK/ QQ part of his range, which means I got 75bb's more than I was going to if i bet.
I will not get hero called down in this spot ever imo. (however I did get hero'd in a 4bp later... - I was truely gobsmacked).
http://wt.ag/QOxYBbstrange pre from him.. but nice hand I think.
http://wt.ag/QOy0c4When he snap calls pre, snaps flop and turn... I just shove river to expect the same with his KQ/ AJ hands... thanks mate.
no value in online poker apparently.
http://wt.ag/QOy6AEThis is special. This went against every fibre of my being at the time... but something just did not add up. Then his stats loaded and it was like 3 hands. I hated the whole thing.. especially this turn, since his AQ now wins. But it just didn't fit, he SNAP shoved turn.
So being a fish, I called... and then properly screamed HOLDDDDDD!
(having expected him to show me A2 and have pleno say something like 'this is burning my money you **** wtf you doing?').
http://wt.ag/QOyfUuChanged my bet sizing because this guy snapped pre and otf... so I was like "you're getting it son!"
http://wt.ag/QOyi2HI actually expected him to have fd's a reasonable % (and not always Axss) so when he barells pot on turn, i expected him to be fos a LOT. I had a bunch of outs and smashed one... ul son.
http://wt.ag/QOypvbprobably 50p - however tbh I think this is a fold pre when he makes it $5. I have never got it in when they've min3bt/min5bt pre and seen anything other than AA - and its happened 4/5+ times now.
next time this happens I'm folding <AA preflop.http://wt.ag/QOyzCGWAL, MBN, sick, disgusting, OMFG, LOL, ROFL, FFS, and any other's you've got lying around.
wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
http://wt.ag/QOyCOWdiamonds are John's best friend apparently.
http://wt.ag/QOyEGvpossibly thin
possibly a mistake
he should have As type hands some %, [ ] going to bluff if i let him
he will hit the J a decent %
he will have 9x sometimes..
really unsure about this.
http://wt.ag/QOyYVXGot AA in pre... #cantbebad
http://wt.ag/QOz4wyin retrospect I think this is a mistake. I think his range is exactly

type hands only..
Bad john.http://wt.ag/QOzbsethis was deliberate pre because we know 'this villain' is going to flat everything (he had JJ IP pre earlier) and therefore we can take off on A/K type boards a fair bit/ hit the low ones and stack his op's.
[X] we hit
[X] he hit
[X] we hit it harder!
[ ] he folds tp ever to me
http://wt.ag/QOzjYKpossibly spewy/ close pre... but got there and got a stack...
http://wt.ag/QOzmUiwhat a suprise... he makes it a 5bt to $5 pre and he has AA....
bink a fd... so sick to fade.
http://wt.ag/QOzqDsinteresting choice of turn decision
http://wt.ag/QOzu6cI think i made his brain explode... I have no other explanation.http://wt.ag/QOzyTwnice hold..
http://wt.ag/QOzymzI knew people were being OOL when they shoved over my cbets.. but up until now I've had AK everytime they do this - so I've folded.
http://wt.ag/QOzDGOdon't love this.. tough for it to be terrible vs his sizing ott... vnh sir, you win the $$.
http://wt.ag/QOzG5A[X] we hit
[X] he floated then hit
[ ] it helped him
There's a whole bunch more but these are the top 70%.
Overall its been a very successful day and we are back 'up' to -$40 on zoom over 80,640 hands. With a chunk of bad play still in there.
Want to use this to push and help me continue forward and +ve in $$.
Here's to this week, prior to me leaving on my next work adventure on 13th Oct. Not going anywhere nice, but hopefully I will have internet.
