How did the promotion interview go JB?
Terrible mate... woke up on the 'wrong side of the bed'.
Which translates to woke up grumpy... now don't get me wrong I'm not a morning person in any way shape or form, but I have woken up 'grumpy' a handful of times in my life. This one was probably due to
- being poorly already (sniffles, cold, cough, blocked nose)
- jetlag coming back from -5 GMT
- and lack of sleep on the night before (on here till 2am... genius!)
So its mostly my own fault, however.... still sucks to be pretty 'fly' at the interview and interacting part of an application (bossed it last time) and this time I just was not on my game.
Funny part is I think I deserved a job last time, but I don't this time. Still there's not too many candidates and a few positions so its still possible.
Night absent was due to no broadband at my new 'friends' place. So spent the night chilling, eating some new found KFC invention called 'hotshots' and we started watching Star Wars (in proper order 4-6, 1-3).
So not all is lost.
What is found by my return to the UK, is I am pushing myself further and further into the 'want to be a professional poker player with a side of investments/ businesses' camp.
