Thank you.
Have to love Caesar's. 8/5 here and 22/1 in the UK. How do they get away with that? Must be nice to run a 140% book and have people happily handing over their money.
I'll focus on the proper sportsbooks in future. Cantor book in the Cosmopolitan, IIRC.
Are you sure it's not +1600?
Is it possible the display doesn't have space for four numbers? Could be.
If it's a choice between that and Caesar's operating a 140% book on a three horse market, I know where my money's going.
Two guys wandered past while I was sitting there. One says "Ooh, it's +160 here!", in much the same way as you'd say "Ooh, Shaun Wright-Phillips is leaving". They then rushed to the counter to get on.
1600 would make more sense, obviously, but it was definitely just those digits on the big screen.

Sportsbooks in Vegas are usually very competitive on match betting on all sports.
It's antepost and tournament betting that they are complete jokes on the whole.

i didn't see the OP when I posted.
8/5
17/10
22/10
Is much more like it. The handicap % is almost certainly even tighter.
I think Colombia were almost certainly +1600.

both have 8 runners
first race favourite is around even money and has 4 horses 16-1 or bigger in it
2nd race looks much better with an odds on favourite and 4 horses 40-1 or bigger
or am i missing something?

Both NR's already :-(. The O'Meara horse in the second would have been rock solid.

Thanks for posting Iron, nice spot and I don't look at the horses everyday so it was a great heads up, of course there were bound to be NR's, maybe next time.

I disagree. It was a horrid spot before as it was an obvious dirty each way race (maiden check, 8 runners check, short priced horse check, big priced horses check). Now it looks terrible at first glance, but I don't think it is. You can back Poplar Close at 9/4 that beats Betfair and 9/16 top 2 looks like it is probably good too. One for the shops as ever, but think your online account will probably be fine. I won't be doing it as my beteveryday account has a lot of value to me.

And Thankstomonty 7/2 with 6 runners in the 2nd 7/2 the win beats Betfair and the 7/8 first 2 seems massive to me. If you still have a Boils account seems as good a way to lose it as any. Strongly suspect Boils will take offence FWIW. It isn't like they need an excuse to restrict.

update on northants top scorer bet.A bit of a double whammy as peters broke his thumb which meant rob newton has now been moved upto open which is not his favoured position. On the plus side I think he will just miss 1 more game which will give us a decent sweat for the rest of the season.Keogh is leading at the moment and he looks in great nick.ps the pic is from a vewry green northants wicket and that is my family sitting in the background

I disagree to a certain extend, I haven't lost 1 account in the last 2 1/2 years backing dirty each way races and i have done a fair few, I can only put this down to the fact that i am not betting in big enough stakes for the bookies to be worried about me taking £10's of pounds of them rather than £100's of pounds. Of course that may not be the same for everyone on here and that's fair enough, but to me that was a nice spot and im happy to take the chance on the accounts that i have and im more likely to get down town and use the shops if im able to get out. To you it was obviously a horrid spot and i realize im probably in the minority rather than the majority. Happy to be educated that there is another reason i havent lost my accounts to dirty each way races, whats you thoughts?

I suggested this a few weeks ago Omm.
If you betting is driven by purely sourcing bets from these sorts of races, I suspect you may well lose you account.
If you have a nice balance of stuff, and feed in the odd dirty bet, it goes unnoticed.
I am sure even bad punters must stumble across winning ew bet in these races sometimes. It can't result in auto closure, or the bookmaking industry would have shut up shop years ago.
