Performance of the meet, on the track atm, and noone will remember it.
Bit harsh!
Everyone will remember mo sprinting at the end, but noone will remember the ethiopian who was told her countrywomen was unbeatable and didnt give a crap, and beat her all ends up. Invokes memories of radcliffe, but with the right result. Plus nice to see dibaba refuse to give up silver as we have seen many athletes including legends throw away anything if it aint gold.
Felix merely did what she was heavily favourite to do. She beat the hog whatever she does. The hog only beats people who go to bits.
the hog?
really??
we can be better than that on here, please

Incredible last throw by the German. Barely looked like she put any effort into it. No screaming/shouting and sails to the gold. Birdsnest gone very quiet!
Been a great comp, mainly because everyone is a bit average, meaning its so close.

Felix is boring because she consistently shows up at big meetings well prepared, mentally ready and never drops below her A- game. She runs in both relays.
10.89 for the 100m
49.76 for the 400m
I wish she was British!

Great athlete. Incredible range of distances at world class level. Wonder what she can do in the long jump? Like a modern day female Carl lewis.

"It was set up beautifully by Ohuruogu"
51.1 says otherwise, Steve.

He is like an athletics version of willie thorne. 'Ronnie has gone fav for this frame now after that pot' - even though he was odds on 6 shots ago!

Was awful from Christine notahogoo. We should lead there, think we were third. We won bronze on the second leg when the nigerian got carried away and faded badly.

Ladbrokes had us at 6/4 2nd favs without the front 2. Nigeria were 10/11. Was surprised we weren't favs tbh.

Price was correct from the heat results. We only had christine pikachu to come in and she had run woeful in the 400m final. Nigerians got tactics wrong.

I am going to Perry Barr BAGS for the afternoon Tal in a minute if you fancy a punt at your local track. Should be quite busy with the holiday crowd allowed in for free.
