Whilst we are bigging up Freddies, what's going on here?
This photo was taken last night, presumably at Griffin Park.

Thanks Tikay. I actually have been working towards a target, u probably know that Aussie has a separate website that tracks sky players performance, awesome stuff really. Anyway I always thought I was ok at the pokers but wasn't even in the top 200 on sky. Well I thought I would do something about it and although probably to late to get into the top 10 for the year I thought no reason why I couldn't get there on a rolling months basis, gave myself to the end of the year. Anyway long story cut short I made it into the top 10 yesterday (8th) on a rolling months basis. It's been very hard work but I've used all the free resource available including this forum and sky's, done some other study off my own back and watch some free videos online. This all culminated in me winning 3 smaller tournaments in 1 day last week ( 3 x £22bh) ve also won 2 x £55bh, 4 in Roller, 6th in main and mini same night (smallest jackpot payout). Other wins included a few more £22 BH and various 2nd/3rd, final tables and cashes. Anyway I think it's been a success and am really positive about keeping it they way it's going. Enough boasting now, gotta take wife shopping, if only she knew!!!!!!!

I happen to have spent the night in the same hotel as the Leeds Rhinos, as I'm in London for a comp at the hippodrome. I appreciate they are professional athletes and in a game that demands strength and explosive power but there are some proper units in that team. Huge!
50-0 was a heck of a score for a final.

Bit harsh!
But the women's 5,000m has never been athletics' flagship event and never will be. If people want to leave test cricket, chess, bog-pitched rugby union, Bayern Munich and distance running to the purists, so be it.
Performance of the meet by a distance for me was this masterclass in tactics by Allyson Felix:
Surprised Cram didn't tell the world it was seven women saving their sport but Johnson called it spot on as expected afterwards. Felix knows Ohorughu finishes strongly, so she went out hard, caught up the stack and Ohorughu panicked like an amateur, rather than running her time. By 300, Ohorughu was spent and Felix powered to victory. Not a sensational time (and I'm definitely one of those who believes winning is what matters), but she crushed the field physically and mentally.
A truly special athlete.

Everyone will remember mo sprinting at the end, but noone will remember the ethiopian who was told her countrywomen was unbeatable and didnt give a crap, and beat her all ends up. Invokes memories of radcliffe, but with the right result. Plus nice to see dibaba refuse to give up silver as we have seen many athletes including legends throw away anything if it aint gold.
Felix merely did what she was heavily favourite to do. She beat the hog whatever she does. The hog only beats people who go to bits.

Incredible last throw by the German. Barely looked like she put any effort into it. No screaming/shouting and sails to the gold. Birdsnest gone very quiet!
