Evening Tighty.

In the Geneva open tennis I don't fancy any of the big names to triumph. They are either not playing well or not motivated as they will be saving themselves for the French. I narrowed my choice down to 2 and unfortunately they are due to meet in the 1/4 final I will opt for Belluci over Delbonnis as he won this tournament last year, and we get a bigger price.

Suggest £5 e/w Belluci @ 20-1 with betfred.

SDS rides at Ripon this afternoon and tomorrow is doing the Brighton-Windsor double header.

Ryan is taking a day off today and another one tomorrow.

SDS is now joint top with Ryan on 12 and is ahead of everyone in terms of rides taken. Nobody will be able to live with him numbers wise. There's still some 10-11 around but it won't be there much longer.

If we can go in again anywhere Tighty, 4-5 is fine.

What price do you make this Chompy? i totally agree with you btw.  SDS will just hoover up all the 'shit' winners whilst Moore wins bundles of big races but just won't do the volume.

When I gave this one originally I made it an 8-11 poke

You give this as a MAX to your G buds, along with Malta top ten?

Hard to put an exact price on it. Barring injury he'd win it almost every time I'd have thought. RyRy obv not interested in going after numbers and can't see anyone else emerging from the pack.

I wouldn't want to lay him at any price this side of fives on tbh.

Over/under chompy on what i will get offered at 10/11 in a coral shop on this i have never been in before?  Just about to go and try.  Asking for £2200 think they will lay it?  Simon Clare says over 99% of shop bets are laid without an issue.  Pretty big market this one isn't it to knock back a lump on an odds on poke!

They took a £550, £1100 and £2200 and then cut the price. Unknown in all three shops.

Irish rofflers seen enough at 10/11 now as well.  Racebets only now.  Anyone trust them to be around in November to pay out?

Tighty/Tikay - think the final spread damage was £91 - breakdown below.  Let me know if you agree and I'll send bank account details tomorrow.

Watford   +95
Charlton   -88
Preston/Leeds   +2
Peterboro Index   -100

Total   -91

It now appears that the suspect device at OT was "not viable" despite looking very much like the real thing.

A fake bomb placed close to outragous76's seat.

Hmmm

I don't know what time they were placed as I haven't got the slips back yet, but late afternoon. Pete tried again just before 6pm but it had been cut at 5.37pm.
Tried £550 at PP just after 6pm and an unknown was offered £50 lol. In hindsight it was a mistake to try £550 if we'd tried £220 we'd almost certainly have got it.
Gave up after this, there just aren't enough PP shops where any of the husbands are unknown.

Good result in the cricket after an excellent Sunrisers chase. Kings XI scored 180 on a pitch that lacked any kind of pace. Kumar described it as the equivalent of a 250 score in his mid-innings interview, but Sunrisers never looked in trouble really.

Sweat still on for the Kings XI to finish bottom bet.

We're still live, but our main issue is that Pune are woeful. Yesterday they won the toss and batted, despite rain around and 0/6 when batting first, very strange. The glimmer of hope is that they have a better run rate than Punjab and they play each other last game, that's obviously must-win.

Fixtures:
Tues 17th - Pune host Delhi. This is a decent spot, Delhi have faltered recently. They took a hiding today and their constant team changes may be starting to become disruptive.
wed 18th - Punjab away at RCB. After ABDV and Kolhi's pyrotechnics yesterday RCB will be a fairly short price to prevail here.
sat 21st - Pune host Punjab. Punjab in better form, Pune have "home" advantage (not their actual home ground, but they'll have gained some experience of the conditions), should be a flip.

Good info on the Villareal v Gijon match Rod, Gijon won 2-0 having taken a whole 8 minutes to take the lead!

Can't help a results orientated look at the Rpost pre season pull out this time of year.  The guy who is the most clueless and pointless writer is the ex scouser Didi Hamann.  i have no idea how he ever got the gig at the RP tipping.

These were his pre season selections (he gets a 2 page spread all to himself on pages 4/5 of the pull out)

Arsenal to win Epl 9/2
Man U top NW 2/1
Lolapool without top 4 8/13!!!!!!!!!!!
Rooney top goalscorer 14/1 (i put that up as well i think on here albeit at a bigger price i think)
Bamford top goalscorer 80/1
Palace top half finish 13/8
Norwich top promoted club 7/4
Leicester to be relegated 10/3!!!!!!!!
Watford to be relegated 4/5 (i backed this myself and it was beat at xmas)
Wolves to win the Champs 18/1!!

Has there ever been a worst set of pre season selections than this seriously?  Truely shocking effort none of them have been even close to winning.  As well as tipping Palace as 'big improvers' this season he also added in his text 'I reckon Aston Villa will get better this season'

His opening paragraph on his relegation section was 'I don't know who had the idea that CR was the man to take Leics to the next level, but to my mind the only place the foxes are going with him at the helm is the championship'.

Please RP put us out of our misery.  Everyone knows he is a clueless guessing ex pro.  There are millions of them on the tv week after week but please don't let us have to read this garbage again next year and spoil what is otherwise a great pre season guide.  How can you be so so so wrong on so many areas of the biggest league in the world?

So they had a training session for search-dogs at Old Trafford and accidentally left the fake bomb behind afterwards.

They are surely jesting.
