the derby looks wide open, 5/1 the field? i saw that sky were going 4 places, fwiw

with tikay in Vegas folding A2KK pre-flop in Seniors PLO8 tournaments because you can never be too careful....unfortunately i am only around first thing tomorrow too, other commitments

if you have any ideas for the racing tomorrow

or maybe the copa america?

or anything else in the next 24 hours (tennis?)

i will need them before 10am tomorrow please

Sky is 5 places 1/5 odds.

Hills going ew 1/5 1,2,3 in the Derby which is effectively a 16 runner hcap!  Comical how badly they have had their fingers burnt recently with competing on price in terrible high profile races to do so.  They have now gone to the other end of the scale on a race where they could push the boat out a bit.  Totally clueless marketing departments getting involved with trading decisions as usual!

Just had an email from Hills to say they're going 5 places, too, and 6/1 Wings. Fifth odds again.

Only Tal got that mail?

Must be some value in the Copa America ,with Argentina being so short, they have the best squad on paper but their record in this is not that great
I think the best option is to back Uruguay available @ 10/1 with PP ,coral & BV they would probably not meet Argentina till the final

And along with this the 14/1 with PP Suarez top goalscorer , as they have a relatively easy group playing Venezuela and Jamaica
Brazil have gone with a very lopsided squad , leaving some good players out to instead concentrate on the Olympics , including Neymar who has basically been replaced by Kaka so I don't expect them to do very well this time round

Televised T20 blast tonight, Lancashire v Yorkshire. recc £20 on over 10.5 sixes with Choral @19/20. They aren't listed on oddschecker market, so no link.

full write-up:

This would appear to have won in the 18th over of the first innings. Smiley

I thought it was just a bit of marketing phraseology, but possibly..!

Exclusively for you, we’re paying out on the first FIVE places on one of the pinnacle races of the summer – The Investec Derby (4:30).

Not only that, we will be 6/1 Wings of Desire for Frankie Dettori who is bidding to retain the Derby crown.

Presumably the offer is tomorrow, so not on the website now.

On the assumption we aren't 5 places(I didn't get the email) I think we should just bet win only wings of desire at 6/1 with hills and 9/1 cloth of stars. Maybe £25 each with hills. We get a free bet if 2nd and best odds guaranteed, so it is sure to be +EV.

They were both on the borders of Neil's selection at shorter.

I can't get much on neil's horses at any decent terms, but if people can, I am sure they are reasonable bets too.

Edit.  Just realised we only get the free bet if 2nd on the first bet.  No matter, both beat betfair, so the bets stand by themselves.
