Bottas and Danny R got 5 place gearbox penalties for the British GP tomorrow. Alonso got his customary 30 places

i am off today but if you have anything can place first thing tomorrow

4 pm on a Friday no good?

Some rain is posssible today and tomorrow at Silverstone.

Edit.  Couldn't resist a tenner each way on perez at 500/1.  Shame nobody is 3 places.

Very busy weekend for me with F1/FE/F2 & GP3.

Will be looking to post some suggestions post-FP3 (about 90 minutes from now).

Off to Ascot today and I know absolutely nothing about the horses. If anyone fancies anything please post or drop me a PM i'd appreciate it thanks!

I've been told Banditry in the 3rd take the 13-2 if possible as it beats the machine

While I'm waiting for the F1 market to reform, I have two suggestions for today's New York ePrix 1. Sky Bet only, sorry.

Race Winner - Felix Rosenqvist @ 5/2. The quickest driver in the championship at the moment, in one of the most competitive cars too. 5/2 is far too high, especially with Buemi not taking part today. This is a max. bet.

Race Winner - Nick Heidfeld @ 13/2. As above, one of the most competitive cars on the grid right now, a podium should easily be achievable. Suggest £20 EW (1/5 1-3).

The major threat to these bets is if the two get caught up in any chaos around the extremely challenging Brooklyn Street Circuit. I don't see a scenario where all the cars get through turn 6/7 on lap one. Formula E have once against pushed the boundaries of track design and this right, left chicane is insanely tight. It's worse than Baku City Circuit's turn eight.

You know what, with Buemi not racing this weekend, I think Felix Rosenqvist at 200/1 to win the title is a bet.

Current standings are:

1) Buemi 157 pts
2) di Grassi 125
3) Rosenqvist 86

If we assume Felix takes both race wins and poles this weekend (quite an assumption, but it is the most likely scenario) that'll put him on 142. Still 15 behind Buemi with two races to go, but 200/1 still seems too high to me. Even when you consider di Grassi's possible points haul this weekend, I'm still game above 125/1. Suggest a max bet (I'm limited to £2, sigh).

Okay, F1 suggestions:

To Reach Q3 - Kevin Magnussen @ 21/10. The Haas car is fast at the moment. Actually it has been all season, but now it seems like their drivers can finally slow the car down with the brakes - only took a season and a half to sort out! Happy to take over 2/1, suggest £20.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/british-grand-prix/to-reach-qualifying-session-three

Race Winner - Sebastian Vettel @ 10/3 with Ladbrokes and Coral. Lewis isn't happy at the moment and he was slow in Austria for this very reason. Following his non-appearance at F1Live during the week, and the resultant negative criticism he received, he'll still be down in the dumps. I don't see him winning this weekend. With Valtteri Bottas having a five-place grid penalty, this leaves the door open for Sebastian. Suggest £30.

Pole Position - Sebastian Vettel @ 11/2 with Ladbrokes and Coral. I don't think he'll get pole today, but 11/2 is too good to turn down. Suggest £20.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/british-grand-prix/pole-position

Points Finish - Kevin Magnussen @ 11/10 with various. As above. Suggest £40.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/british-grand-prix/points-finish

Top Six Finish - Esteban Ocon
@ 9/4 with William Hill. Esteban has been beating Sergio more and more frequently of late, he's definitely getting stronger. With Force India bringing a major upgrade package this weekend, I predict Esteban will be in the best place to take advantage should one of the traditional top six have an issue in the race. Suggest £40.

Likelihood of rain during the sessions for the rest of the weekend is drifting. Even if we do get rain, Silverstone is a high speed, open circuit, so you don't tend to get shock results round here. Wouldn't be suggesting these bets myself.

https://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/mens/marin-cilic-v-roger-federer/most-aces

BFSB/irish loltraders stuck the pin in massively wrong here and are arbing with their own exchange at an incredible clip here.  Back Fed at 7/2 and some punter wants £8k at 2/1 on the exchange now if you are lucky enough to get a bet with either of the lolsportsbooks.

Obviously close to a max bet for fred if we can get anything on the 7/2.

Loltraders go 5/2 from 7/2 now so at least they can't void your bet on the grounds of it being a rick.  They are laying 5/2 now when they could just go on their own exchange and mop up the £4k at 2/1 one of their exchange customers want.  You really have to laugh.

Pricewise in the RP ended his 88 runner losing streak today.  Some streak that is even at the prices he tips.  First winner since May 19 according to the thread on the bf forum.

a reminder for tomorrow we have this going

july cup caravaggio   7/2   50

11/10 best on https://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/2017-07-15-newmarket/16:35/winner

For those that can.  BFSB are 13/2 Harry Angel.  The horse isn't far off Caravaggio, we beat the exchange and given the shape of the race, will be surprised of the betfair place market hasn't formed properly, but I will be surprised if the place price is going to be bigger than 13/10.

Guess thread is going to struggle to get a tenner e/w but you never know.
