Think we are up to date on that glut of football bets now.

Swansea v West Ham (Aaron) - we will not be proceeding with this - too much negative comment.
Northampton v Southend (Jim) -ON

Blackburn v Leicester (Brent) -  ON.

Bolton v Forest, (LuckyJim) - ON

Hazard Penalty, (horsey) - ON

Notts Co v Walsall, (Dung Beetle) - Still undecided.

Oxford v Plymouth, (Dung". Still undecided.

Morning Tony

Swansea to beat West Ham was my suggestion , and the only comment (not negative) was Rich saying the price was about right at 11-10

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/swansea-v-west-ham/winner

I feel this is still a good bet for the reasons already state. Of course I fully understand the vicissitudes and workings of a democratic thread should you wish to swerve it , but to me it still  looks a stand out investment & of course Im on it already.

Good Luck with all your bets this weekend.

Fraser

Thanks Fraser.

Appreciate your comments, & yes, you are correct, it was your bet, not Aaron's, my apologies.

To me, when Tighty said "the price was about right", I took that as a negative - we are looking for value, where the price is wrong. We have plenty of football experts on here (count me out!), & there has been no warmth for the bet. In any event, £100 is way too much in this particular case, or it is for me.

If others come on & support the tip, I'll do it, but as of now, it's a swerve for me.

Needless to say, nothing is more likely now than a Swansea win......and for your sake, I hope they do.

Good luck Mr B.

Wanted to back this up as I'm a big Swansea fan, ever since watching them come to Doncaster and watching them slaughter us at home in the season we both got promoted. Unfortunately, I didn't, because I couldn't really justify it mathematically, or in a sense of value, so did not. I look forward to seeing how they get on!

edit: Early kickoff.... How to make yourself look like a muppet 101.

Yorkshire beat Sussex, comfortably

Through to the final to play Somerset or Hampshire, at 6.45pm

We have a 7/2 sweat.

Meanwhile, well done to Fraser. Swansea well in control throughout, so far

Sunderland's unbeaten start to season continues as match postponed due to waterlogged pitch.

In August.

Robert Stieglitz on points at 21/5 with Sportingbet looks good to me.  Abraham was a bit of a beast at 160 but has been exposed since he stepped up 168 and stepped up in class.  He was comfortably outboxed by Dirrell, Froch and Ward, barely winning more than a round in each of the fights.  Stieglitz obviously isn't in that class but providing he doesn't leave his chin exposed I can see him outworking Abraham and racking up the rounds particularly early on as Abraham is a slow starter.  Fight is live on Boxnation tonight.

Mr Tikay.

If I had more computer skills I would post a video of Culture Clubs song Karma Chameleon.

Brett Hodgson wins Lance Todd trophy as man of the match.

Leicester don't seem a very proffessional outfit Tighty, absolutely bossed another game and go down 2-1 again.

Certainly dominated another game. Replays showed our "second" was on, too. Very tight league, got to get the rub of the green and take some chances!

A good day for our man Rodriguez. He came away from the stage with an increase in his lead, & is now up 33 seconds over Froome.

As expected Sky attacked on the final slop of the day. It came down to a tactical battle of the four GC contenders. Contador was pipped on the line by Valverde & Rodriguez, with Froome suffering & 15 seconds back.

Some good news & some bad news.

Good news? 1-1.

Bad news? I'm afraid I clean forgot to bet this, sorry. (I fell asleep before putting it on, not the first person to do that I believe).

Anyway, I hope you get the win.

I'm off to give myself a severe talking to.
